On Saturday the pub starts serving food at 5pm. It has an ample parking. selection of food and drinks. For starter I had a tasty cockle with laverbread and for the main a decent size of lamb shank which was really tender, the mash was nice and creamy. Staff were really friendly and food was served in no time. Waiters and waitresses were really young, basically kids, but all of them were up for the job. Honestly, I raise my hat to them. to see that not all the new generation is just all about the PS5 and they are actually keen to work and earn. Well done guys. Lovely local pub. parking, food, staff, atmosphere, cleanliness, not sure what more to say. Try it for yourself. First time back after they re-opened earlier in the year. Nice job on the refurbishment. Food/service is as as it ever was. Prices seem a bit higher but worth it. Stopped by here and had the Sunday roast. Everything was lovely. In particular the meat that just fell apart it was so tender and the gravy was amazing (so you'll want extra bread to mop it all up)! Friendly, helpful staff and as a bonus it's dog friendly in the bar area too. Will definitely go here again if I'm in the area. We dropped in here for Saturday lunch on our way down south, guided by others positive reviews. The food was really good! I had the teryaki chicken salad bowl, kids had burgers. Great quality, large portion and service. The place has obviously been done up recently and looks lovely. The only thing that was lacking was a bit of atmosphere...we were there for 12pm on a Saturday, but it was a really lovely hot day and im guessing everyone was out enjoying the sun. I would recommend this pub. Haven’t been here since before the long awaited refurb. We booked lunch here today for a party of 8, including some fussy eaters, and a vegetarian child. Absolutely superb. Nothing was too much trouble. And the food was impeccable. We ordered steaks, sea bass fillets, pulled pork burger, pulled pork bao buns, and pasta. Everyone enjoyed every mouthful. The whole place has had a refurb, and it feels so light and airy there. The wait staff were wonderful, and we have nothing but things to say! We will definitely be returning . Picked up a new car from crosshands today , search Google and found this pub . So glad we did I had lamb shank , which was so tender with lovely vegetables, other had cottage pie , sea bass and a burger. Deserts were so tasty, bread and butter pudding and Dubai ice-cream . The staff were excellent, will visit again when I'm next in the area. Had stopped here for Sunday lunch a few times before they’re fire it was always really and friendly Was excited to see they had reopened again so booked a Sunday lunch the food tasted great , service really lovely staff but please don’t serve it in a bowl when you started eating it the bowl just looked like a big mess and you didn’t know what you were eating such a shame it was the same with the prawn cocktail sandwich looked like a mess on the plate but tasty loads of prawns but just looked odd Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
