This place is one of my favourite pubs. We’ve been twice now and been served delicious food, great beer and the owner and staff are friendly and attentive. Dog friendly too which is a huge bonus for us. Would highly recommend if you’re in the area or have come to see the falls. A really lovely, small pub. Serves good local beers and delicious food. I've been here a few times with friends and always had great, friendly service, and a good bit of banter with the locals. I'll certainly be back. Nice cosy little pub. I felt the stake wasn't worth £18 as it came with just chips and salad no mushrooms, onions or onions rings, so a bit disappointing. The peppercorn sauce was tasteless. The stake it's self was ok. Staff were friendly and the place was clean The staff were very friendly but when giving them specific instructions about my food that they even read back to me, they still got it wrong. I asked for a plain chicken burger and got almost all of the toppings which is a simple order and hard to get wrong, my partner got a M/R steak and it came more then well done and dry, 2 easy mistakes but for a £75 bill i would not recommend. A Surf & Turf That Took Me Straight to Paris (in My Mind) I can say without a shadow of doubt that my meal at The Three Horse Shoes, Cenarth was the best I’ve ever had — and I don’t say that lightly. I ordered the surf and turf, expecting something delicious, but what arrived was pure magic. The steak was cooked to perfection — melt-in-your-mouth tender — while the prawns were plump, sweet, and bathed in a buttery garlic sauce that could have made me weep. Every bite felt like it had been prepared with care, attention, and genuine passion. Now, this might sound dramatic, but if you’ve seen the movie Ratatouille, you’ll know the scene where the food critic takes one bite and is instantly transported back to his childhood — that was me. One forkful, and suddenly I was in a blissful haze of comfort, nostalgia, and sheer culinary joy. I almost expected a tiny cartoon chef to pop out of the kitchen. The service was warm and welcoming, the atmosphere relaxed yet full of character, and by the end of the night I was already planning my next visit. If you’re anywhere near Cenarth, do yourself a favour: go to The Three Horse Shoes, order the surf and turf, and prepare for your own Ratatouille moment. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Visited with some friends for a weekend away. The food was fantastic! Great value for money and a large range of food. Service was equally as excellent- staff are super attentive. Fantastic Olde World pub. The food and welcome is amazing. The local butcher faggots were the best and the wife had salmon which she thoroughly enjoyed. Highly recommend this pub . Best place in Cenarth Falls to eat is The Three Horseshoes Inn. All I can say is the landlord and staff were very welcoming and professional. I'm a hard person to please when I go out due to my profession, but I can say the food was a 10 out of 10, the service was also 10 out of 10. My partner had the chicken, ham and leek pie which he loved and said it was packed full of big chunks of chicken. My steak was cooked to perfection. The landlord even had a joke with me offering me a job. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.
