Lunch out with our son and his girlfriend. We've been here a few times o er the years. Food was great as always however service was a bit disappointing on this occasion meaning we didn't stay for dessert...shame really. Maybe better service next time! PS Perhaps don't opt to sit in the Snug / Bar next time = out of sight, out of mind! Ideal pit stop on the National Cycleway Route 25 between Bournemouth and Bath. The roast is out of this world. Warm and friendly pub with great - I felt so welcomed, and will definitely be back! Carvery today, as a vegetarian the service was great, the nut roast was lovely, and very nice selection of veg! We sat in the bar, as we had my friends elderly dog with us, plenty of room, and nice atmosphere. Really reasonable pricing ,and the apple and blackberry crumble was delicious 😋 Slightly disappointing. It's not really a true carvery as they dish it up for you. Food was mediocre. We had to ask a number of times for children's menu. They also add 10% tip on without giving you the chance to agree to it. Called in for lunch on a Saturday after visiting a castle as on holiday. The food was absolutely amazing, not over priced. Well worth a visit 👍 Christmas WI dinner - twenty of us arrived for our annual Christmas dinner. Fabulous setting, delicious food, served all at once, with lots of different choices, were attentive and very pleasant. Everyone throughly enjoyed their meal and evening. I would highly recommend. Thank you. The food was amazing, but the only down side is the 10% charge on top for each person and not the table as a whole just seems to be unfair. This is the only thing that is stopping me going back, which is ashame as everything was good. Had a fantastic carvery today. Not only was the meat selection really good, the veg was cooked to perfection and potatoes were crispy and delicious. I would highly recommend a visit. Really enjoyed a carvery on Wednesday with 5 people for my ??rd birthday. Although not a 'veggie' I decided to have nut roast which was very tasty. very pkeasant and attentive. Parking easy, great location. Will certainly be going again soon. Thanks to all. Had a Sunday Carvery the food was exceptional unlimited Carvery hot great choice. Service was amazing the place was full and had plenty of on they knew what they were doing and worked really hard. Just a shame that one group where very rude to a couple of waitresses. Would be going again and recommend it Excellent food, popped in for a carvery with the family and wasn't disappointed, everything really well made and tasty plus friendly Lovely food, staff, beautifully decorated and just an overall nice atmosphere for all, couples, families, anyone We stayed here for 2 nights, fully equipped en suite room with all amenities even fresh milk on a small cooler. Fabulous breakfast and ate in the evening food was very and choice. And cairan was a fabulous host Little hidden gem well worth discovering Popped in on the off chance of a dinner after a day out. Absolutely lovely. Friendly throughout. Dinner cooked to perfection. Well done to the chef. 👍 Myself and my parents have frequented The Kings Arms for manys years, Landlords have come and gone but the food and atmosphere and friendly service, have remained top notch. Last Friday we went to the all you can eat for 22 quid, pie night and were not disappointed! There was a choice of fillings and buttery flaky pastry lids. Fillings were steak and ale which was filled with mouthwatering slow cooked beef in a rich sauce and Ham and Turkey in a creamy leek sauce equally Mouthwatering. There was a vegetarian option which looked really too. We then helped ourselves to the selection of vegetables and the kings arms signature gravy, in short, it was all yummy! They do a fantastic carvery Mid-week and Sunday, well worth checking out. Their Main menu also offers really delicious, fresh, seasonal choices, generous portions that are reasonably priced.
