The adult swimming classes have been the right level of encouragement and challenge for me after years of not swimming. Kettlebells, Body Tone and Ultimate Pump have seen me shift the tum and feel good about myself. Aquafit-a fun way to burn calories without me realising it. The area with seats along the side of the needs more efficient aircon or fans to keep the temperature at a reasonable temperature on hot days. Amazing. Had my first swimming lessons yesterday and the instructor was amazing. Everyone is actually nice, from the receptionist, instructors, life guards and every swimmer that i met. The water is clean, the facility is clean. Friendly and helpful but the is a bit cold and the changing rooms are long overdue an overall. The gym and are fine. The gym has benefited from the recent gym updates that most Wiltshire leisure centres have undergone recently. The centre itself is quite small and suffers from ageing facilities, and a poor layout. The showers are just a room packed full of shower heads. Each has a weird filter thing which limits the power the showers can produce. They also have the classic layout where the shower room is accessed by walking barefooted through the men's toilets, which doesn't feel very hygienic. The men's changing room absolutely stunk. It's like somebody is using it as a cave to mature cheese in. Not sure what's going on there, but I would get changed in the changing cubicles if I were you. Overall, the leisure centre is fine if you fancy a swim or a gym session. The were friendly and welcoming, and I would visit again if I was passing through and needed to use the gym. I just might shower elsewhere! Good place to relax after a long day at work. Swimming hygiene was decent. Toilets are kept tidy, showers are a little bit outdated - half of them not working and the rest of them have inconsistent temperature so be careful when you take a shower. Lovely members of staff. They are always helpful. We only use the for swimming lessons so can't comment on the other facilities. This place is really friendly and the are super helpful. The classes are very popular and you need to book early if you can. Apparently the gym equipment is new so it's got a great range of machines.
