We had the lamb roast and the the schnitzel and they were both fantastic! They also have an amazing selection of fresh cakes. Prices are very fair for the quality and portions. Also the menu is available in several languages and English. They only thing did not make me very happy is that they charge (0.60 cents) for a take away box for my left over food but since they charge for it they could at least have some more ecological containers. The rest was definitely fantastic and we would come back! We had a great lunch here. They have a large menu with lots of choices. The portions are also large for a food price. And lovely cakes for dessert. We would come back. 👍🏻 The ribs are falling off the bone! This place was an unexpected surprise - everything we had was delicious, the staff is friendly and English speaking, the decor modern and clean. They seem really popular so it might be a good idea to reserve a table in advance. We got a table at a corner with plenty of space for doggo (who devoured the bones with gusto) Highly recommend! Reasonable prices, very clean facility and excellent friendly service. We had to travel once again to Šmarje pri Jelšah just to visit Krpan before we left Slovenia. We were nearly seated to the table for two which is between the bar and the pizza parlor. There are two small tables for two couples. Imagine: a romantic evening with waiters running around you all the time. Those two tables should be moved to a better place. And the food: overcooked gnocchi, too fatty soup, no Wiener kalbsschnitzel, only pork and chicken. And the waiter forgot to make proper eye contact or to give us a kind smile. Hope for better next time, there are a few of ok restaurants here around! We had a birthday lunch in their winter garden (with separated exit on a sunny site of the restaurant, which is perfect for winter sunny days) :) I think I couldn’t choose better place in this part of the year. We loved the place, food and the stuff was truly friendly. Everything was just as/or even better than we agreed before with the manager. Oh, and about prices! We came from Maribor, and in our city such food would cost 20% more. In the menu you will find anything your gourmet taste would desire.
