My wife and I just experienced our first time shooting clay pigeons and it was so much fun! Our instructor Davie was very informative and kind. He made the whole moment all the more special. Highly recommend! It was our group’s first time shooting clay pigeons, and we had an absolute blast! Our instructor, Cyril, was fantastic — patient, encouraging, and made the whole experience so much fun. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Scotland! We had a brilliant 1.5 hours of archery and air rifle shooting with Cyril. Lots of fun, especially with the competitive element! Highly recommended and we would love to go back. Brilliant day out with an excellent instructor, Rosie. Never shot a shotgun before and really enjoyed it. Rosie’s instruction was first class and the fact that I won our group competition shows how good she was. Highly recommend and look forward to returning again. Cyril was fantastic especially with a complete novice like myself. We were given in depth instructions and support whilst making the whole experience a complete joy. Wouldn't hesitate to do this again or recommend others to "give it a go". We had the pleasure of having the instructor Rose. A wonderfull woman, calm and kind and a lovely sense of humor and passion for what she does. My husband and I had never shot before but under the guidance of Rose we had so much fun! With just a little tweak here and there we managed to hit our targets and in the meantime we had great conversations about the sport itself. All in all a wonderful experience and we definately recommend to go here. The grounds itself were beautiful, the staff great people! Beautiful, elegantly curated estate surrounding the range area. The wooden lodge is perfect to have briefings and a break with impressive hunting trophies on the surrounding walls. All the staff was really friendly and helpful. First time clay shooting for me and my wife and target practicing with bow and arrow was a lot of fun. Elliot was a great instructor and super nice on the archery range and Cyril was outstanding and super informative on the clay shooting side of things. Also, Angus was a really pleasant chap, passionate about his role. Honestly: a great fun day out with good people. We will be back for more soon! We spent a really fun morning with Davies. The whole experience was incredibly enjoyable, and even as beginners we managed to shoot a lot of our targets due to the patience and pure knowledge of Davies as a coach. Everything was explained so well, the whole facility was so smoothly run and we couldn’t recommend this experience more.
