We njoyed our breakfasts and dinner in here. welcoming staff, always happy, smiley and professional. We njoyed Tempura King Prawns and Cullen skink as starters. North Sea Haddock and a venison burger on our first evening with a bottle of wine, and a £35 food allowance each evening this was part of their deal. All Our food was delicious the prawns were so tasty and very filling, as was the Cullen skink, Breakfast was served by the luvly Jennifer each morning, again and engaging, we njoyed bacon and poached egg on muffins, and a full Scottish breakfast every morning, with orange juice, toast, and tea and coffee again food was tasty and well presented. Another evening we njoyed steak pie, and a chicken bacon and mozzarella pizza and a brioche bread and butter pudding. Our last evening an Aberdeen Angus Sirloin steak and a pepperoni Pizza again all our food was delicious. The Bistro is bright and spacious with a luvly atmosphere. The Stay W & D deal is on till end of April. Also Dog so highly recommend you visit. :) :) Lovely lunch here today with amazing seating right on the river. Beautiful views over the river and surrounding hills. Dog and an excellent vegan menu. Staff are really and loved our wee dog. Have been here a few times and the food/drink is always excellent as are the staff. We were seated without reservation and despite not being dressed for the occasion and venue 100%(coming from water adventure). Food was delicious, cocktails too. I had veal, meat was tender. Great place to eat, food is fabulous, in fact we've never had a bad meal here! Great service, warm & friendly. Five 🌟 's. Lovely atmosphere, very clean throughout. Absolutely fabulous servers and staff, very and welcoming happy for a wee natter. Most importantly the food was fantastic! I personally has the prosciutto pizza and a drambuie crème brûlée for ma puddin with a cappuccino, the food was delisious and the coffee was also quite lovely We had good drinks and delicious food. The service was attentive and friendly. On top of that, the playlist was nice😉 We enjoyed our dinner very much and can recommend this restaurant warmly. Service was speedy and fantastic. Food was delicious. Perfect spot after a 6 mile walk. Dog and provided water and treats for her. Cannot wait to come back again. I had the fishcake starter and seasonal veg side - both great. Veg was the standout as cooked to perfection and so fresh and flavoursome. Raspberry sorbet was brilliant and the creme brulee went down a treat, especially the little hand made shortbread. Service was fantastic throughout and atmosphere was warm even on a random Monday.
