Check out Llanthony priory along the route, then depending on which way you came from hay-on-wye is worth a stop for refreshments etc As it was a sunny Sunday on a bank holiday weekend we planned to ride our motorcycles over the pass early from Hay on Wye to Abergavenny. We were not disappointed, the views are spectacular. Rode the pass from South to North. Challenging, narrow to just before the summit but once there the view is just stunning, absolutely beautiful. Anyhow, it's definitely worth the journey.
