Amazing cakes, i tried the Waddentaart, the cappuccino was ok Such a reward for the long bike ride from Uithuizen against the wind. There are easier ways to get here, but it's most romantic to make the journey part of the experience of getting to this café at the end of the world. Cozy tables with soft rugs for table cloths, pictures of ships and the unique Wadden landscape everywhere. Friendly service and good food. The hot lemonade and rum chocomel hit the spot for us, and as vegetarians we were very happy with the spinach quiche with salad and fries. Homemade appeltaart was delicious, and the Waddentaart was good but much too sweet for my liking. It was to try it once, but I'll stick with the appeltaart next time. Overall wonderful and an interesting place to stop for a bite to eat along the Dutch northern dike. Very nostalgic cafe to have a cup of coffee and cake I love the ambiance and feel very much at home there It is a place to go and get a breath of fresh air on top of the dike and clear your head again. Friendly staff Went here for a coffee and cake but wish we could stay there for the weekend. A place to dream away after a long walk and get inspired by the old interior. A place where you want to sit all day long when it rains, play games, drink wine and enjoy snacks. Also the boy who was serving us did an outstanding job and was extremely hospitable. A cafe/restaurant in the middle of nowhere :) Service with a smile is always nice. Nice cheese croquettes, salad and fries. All done ok, salad had a good vinaigrette sauce. The scenery is pastoral, and the walk beyond the sea wall is a short walk. Super friendly boutique cafe at the end of the world. Tea was wonderful and a great place to warm-up after visit to the end of the port. Literally in the middle of nowhere. Or at the end of the world… on a hiking/bicycle route, food is correct, pastry is great. Very friendly and helpful staff, children welcome. Great place for a lunch or cake. Retro interior. Loved it. A lovely place to visit, and one which would be easy to miss as it is far off the beaten track. The host was very welcoming, especially as we had got caught in a thunderstorm and were sopping wet! Service was good and the food was very pleasant. It was well worth our bike ride to visit.
