There was a fantastic detection of gluten free cakes. Cakes were very nice and the coffee was alright My wife, baby daughter and I stopped off here on our way down south. It was busy but we managed to get a table. They supplied a high chair for the babes. The were friendly and helpful throughout. My daughter loved the business with so much to look at. The kindly het up my daughter’s meal which we made her. They have a decent menu with your staples like filled rolls, baguettes, baked potatoes, soup and ofcourse your full breakfast etc. I opted for the soup and a baked potato with coronation chicken and sun dried tomatoes. I love how you can have many different fillings and mix and match. My wife got a full breakfast and each of us got a hot chocolate. My jacket potato was pretty good. Severed hot and the sun-dried tomatoes and the chicken flavours worked well together. I personally prefer to have my potato skin crispier but to someone else this may be perfect. The soup was nice also. The breakfast wasn’t anything particularly special but still enjoyed. The hot chocolates were luxurious and very generously topped with cream and fudge pieces. This went down a treat. We took away a couple of sweet bakes both of which were yummy. Overall a solid cafe to stop off at if you are passing through Biggar. In Biggar we stumbled upon this delightful place for high tea just before closing. The welcomed us warmly, and we enjoyed a heavenly cake and perfectly brewed tea. Cozy ambiance and outstanding made it a memorable experience. Highly recommended for a delicious and inviting high tea in town Stopped off on our way home from Edinburgh. Breakfast was great was freshly cooked the was second to none. Stopped in on our way home. Great food , lovely and don't even get me started on the baking. All I will say is try the lemon Victoria sponge. A lovely cortado, friendly staff, and a cozy space with many modern touches. I visited Biggar by sheer luck, and Aroma turned out to be the highlight of my trip. Freshly prepared tasty food served by friendly staff. I had a link sausage roll, made with proper meaty butchers sausages not the mass produced frozen variety. My partner enjoyed a delicious cheese scone. Our first time dining there and it won’t be our last! Stopped here on our way out of Edinburgh and it was one of our favorite meals in our trip. Had an English breakfast and a scone and they were both excellent. Can think of nowhere better to break up a long drive. Great choice and guaranteed for the weary traveller. Great food Can be very busy and slow. However it's good food and if you want to be guaranteed a ta le book ahead. My wife & I visited Aroma randomly as walk ins this weekend whilst on holiday. The experience was awful, despite the town of Biggar itself being very appealing. We walked in, chose a seat in the window, waited ages for menus which were eventually supplied by a fairly pleasant female staffer. Waited ages again. Another waitress then served a table who had arrived at least 5 minutes after my wife & I. We chose to walk out at this point, my wife was not happy & had attempted to address the poor customer service, I decided I definitely do not want to dine here ever & we left. Instead, we walked down to a small sandwich shop called Zest & enjoyed delicious takeaway sandwiches which we ate on a lovely quite bench nearby. My advice is to avoid Aroma & try somewhere else as this place appears to be badly organized and run! If I could give it 0 stars, I would. Happy trails to those that visit lovely Biggar, just don't visit Aroma. Splendid cakes & coffee here! I’ve had the pleasure of visiting aroma twice in the last two days, due to my first exit being too hasty, whilst being wheeled into an ambulance after a slight malfunction of my brain and blood pressure whilst visiting. ( I’m sure this was my body’s way of teaching me for not ordering cake) The at Aroma are second to none, every single member of was happy helpful and polite. The gluten free options make me incredibly happy, I had the pleasure of stopping in a second time whilst retrieving my vehicle from Biggar (and making sure I ate the cake). The hot chocolates are just delicious. I can not thank the two members that were with me enough. They were absolutely fantastic having just had some one faint on them. If I’m ever passing through I will 100% return to Aroma. I dined with two separate parties one as a four and one as a 3 and all of us enjoyed every part of our meal. Thank you again to the wonderful ladies at Aroma.
