What a lovely unexpected find. If you drive passed the Big Red Barn, it is worth stopping for! The quality of the food is excellent, and the atmosphere is so relaxing. I felt really at ease here, and had a lovely time. There's plenty of choice for food and drink, and you can walk around the grounds afterwards. It is a beautiful place to bring the kids. The staff are all friendly and warm too. Presented as a farm shop with cafe. Shop have lots of wine pasta and preserves, from abroad rather than not a lot else. Oh and 🧀, they had wheels of cheese. Food menu is pretty selective not a huge choice. Not a kids selection either. Staff didn't seem to know the menu. Service was functional, but seemed a bit forced/ scripted. Had a bit of a wait for food and it was disappointing to see the table beside us come in after us and be served food before us. As the place got busier service became inattentive, struggled to catch attention for some condiments and additional drinks. I get that it's all produce being cooked but it was it was quite pricey for what it was. And the shop didn't seem to have much produce beyond the cheese. This is an exceptionally good cafe, and we have eaten here many times. What makes it outstanding is that all the food is made and baked inhouse, and you can tell. All made with very good ingredients, resulting in delicious dishes. Today we both had the set lunch and my fish cakes were the best I have tasted, as were the accompaniments. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and nothing is too much trouble. This is not a cheap place to eat, but the price reflects the quality of the ingredients and the care taken to prepare them. From start to finish our experience at Errington’s was simply wonderful. Warm friendly greeting on arrival, jug of water provided, great menu but we were there for the and were not disappointed. We had the and meat platter and boy did it deliver! Our server was a delight and nothing was too much trouble even split what we hadn’t managed to eat to take home. After gorging on our platter we took a walk into the adjoining woods lovely way to spend an afternoon. Great food, the cheeseboard and meats is delicious! The service was first class and the knowledge of the products and recommendations was great. Nice atmosphere, casual. Good selection on the menu for lunch and all seasonal produce. Nice take away options of meats, cheeses, cakes, tea and coffee as well as pastas, Jam and European foods too. Very nice staff. Highly recommend. We had a great time at Errington's Barn. The food was amazing - brilliant quality and very tasty! We used the outside takeaway area, and the crepes were delicious. The dogs loved their long walk through woodland. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I love the fact that they use their own produce made locally on the farm. A visit to their shop is a must to take home your favourite cheeses. We will definitely be back 🤩 What a Brilliant Find! This place is a true gem, celebrating the very best of produce. Every meal is freshly prepared on-site using super ingredients — you can really taste the difference. They even make their own breads and pastas, which are absolutely delicious. And did I mention the cheese? The owners craft some of the best in the world! Errington’s - fabulous goats and sheep’s milk - it’s raw milk and their own animals. Thankfully, there's a dedicated counter where you can stock up on these incredible delights to take home. Set in a stunning part of the county, it's the perfect day out. There's a beautiful nature trail for a scenic walk, (dog friendly) and if you're planning a gathering, there are great spaces available to hire for larger groups too. Excellent coffee and cake, very nice set up. Also had a lovely walk in the woods with the dogs Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
