Jubilee Tower

St Asaph, United Kingdom Landmark

Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Beautiful views 360 degrees around the surrounding countryside. Useful panels on the tower to pin point various landmarks. Also panels with the history of the tower itself. There is a tea coffee trailer in the car park. Parking £2 for 4 hours. Was quite busy despite the bad weather. Path is well made up and not too muddy. Disappointing to rubbish dropped all the way along the path up to tower. A great area for walks/Hikes long and short walks. Jubilee Tower has a great view on a clear day. Reasonable prices well kept carpark too. Lovely walk from the carpark to the Jubilee Tower. We went on a sunny day and had a great time. There are a few dog bins on the way up which is handy. (There were some Costa cups left on top of these which is naughty - as the sign says, take your rubbish home with you!) Only £2 for the car park which is very reasonable and it takes contactless which is ideal. It took about 45 minutes for us to walk up, stopping a few times on the way. It gets a little steeper near the top and is stoney so make sure to wear appropriate footwear - although I was in trainers and it was fine. The view from the top and all of the way up is pretty stunning - well worth the trip. I'd recommend taking snacks and drinks, although there aren't any toilets so worth getting the kids to go before you head out. We got there around lunchtime and it was busy with people taking pictures. Worth doing, the views are amazing Wow what a walk out. Decided on the day to go the purple route with couple less strenuous diversions with purple and white dots. Thought would pass out in first 10 mins but driven on my 11 year old running ahead it quickly became more manageable and had amazing views, very quiet on path. Windy at the top and was thankful for taking my coat at that point. Chose flatter path down but regretted that as prob 4 times longer and much busier. No toilets or bins til bottom. Definitely revisit Great views from the summit and tower. Fair and reasonably priced car parking. £2.00 for three hours which is plenty of time to take one of the circuit walks to the top and back. Amazing place. Amazing view. Takes around 1-1.5 hrs(depending on your fitness😉) from the Moel Famau Car park. The last 15 min is the steepest bit.... Love Moel Famau! Cheap parking in car park or free restricted parking on the road. Takes about 30 - 45 minutes to walk up and about the same coming back down. Views are spectacular!
