Very nice, authentic place with good service. The place is not very expensive and the food is good. To get to the you have to drive about 25 minutes from the city. From the you can enjoy a stunning view of the mountains and many butterflies around. The is not so suitable for children but we managed. The dishes came out big and rich in everything and you can see that the hand is generous here with the raw material in the dish. The flavors didn't always connect to us in certain dishes, but overall we enjoyed a Greek family dinner.😉 A pastoral restaurant, with a cozy atmosphere and wonderful natural views. The food items were better than the "global" ones. We were Two families with Six kids. The kids didn't really enjoy their orders of hamburgers and chicken pasta, but the grown-ups were satisfied all-in-all. I would come again. I came to Bread and Salt in Tinos with high expectations, especially given the buzz surrounding the and its stunning location. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to the hype. There’s no denying the setting is beautiful—perfect for a sunset dinner—but the food and service were a letdown. I ordered the Tinian salad and the pork with mushrooms and eggplant purée, both of which were disappointing. The concept of “local pastrami” felt out of place and tasted off. Even more puzzling was the decision to cover burnt meat in balsamic vinegar—an odd attempt to mask poor execution that only made things worse. While the staff was polite, the service was slow and uneven. Long waits between courses and an overall sense of disorganization made the evening feel more frustrating than relaxing. At these prices, I expected a much higher level of quality and attention to detail. Perhaps it was just an off night, but with so many truly excellent dining options on the island, I wouldn’t be in a hurry to return. A great view can only carry a so far. Τα πιάτα είναι πάντα προσεγμένα, με γεύσεις που δένουν αρμονικά και αναδεικνύουν τα τοπικά προϊόντα. Οι μερίδες είναι γενναιόδωρες και οι τιμές απόλυτα δίκαιες, κάτι που σε κάνει να φεύγεις πάντα χορτασμένος και ικανοποιημένος. Στο τέλος μας κέρασε κι ένα θαυμάσιο γλυκό. Το προσωπικό ευγενέστατο κι εξυπηρετικό. Πολύ καλή σχέση ποιότητας-τιμής, που αυτό τελικά είναι που μετράει. Το καλοκαίρι θα πρέπει να είναι και πολύ ωραία έξω, κάτω από τα δέντρα στην δροσιά. Το συστήνουμε ανεπιφύλακτα. Perfect! The food was absolutely delicious and all of us were very happy. We would definitely come back! A lady in Tinos town suggested this and village, and it ended up being the best meal of our entire two weeks in Greece. The itself is so breathtaking, with beautiful tables and lights for an ambience! The food was so incredible we got, beef cooked to perfection *different temperatures for each of us in the party*, baked artichokes, a traditional salad with artichokes and cheese. Cannot recommend this enough! A must go if you visit Tinos. We stumbled across this gem as it was one of the only restaurants open in the villages of Tinos when we were there late September. But we’re so glad we did as it was delicious. The food was creative and innovative, everything was so fresh and delicious. Portions were generous and price very reasonable. As two vegetarians we had plenty of options and particularly enjoyed the beetroot salad and artichoke linguine. The view is also sublime. Cannot recommend enough. Best greek salad on the island!:) we also took “Mushrooms” (stuffed champions) and Moussaka croquettes for starters, everything was amazing. Beef steak with caramelized onions and Pork steak with feta and artichokes are giant and amazingly cooked 👌🏼 Can’t wait to be back here again Very friendly staff. Very nice Ambiente with a very soothing music in the background that makes you enjoy the view of the village. The food was amazing with nice twists, that make traditional plates memorable. The feta κανταΐφι with a crunchy exterior with the savoury feta and the sweet honey, is reason enough to pay a visit.
