Don’t understand why some people are giving this restaurant 2 stars? We thought the food was quite solid. More traditional taverna food rather than the more modern twist restaurants in town. We loved the mussels, the herring, the taramasalata (my fave in Tinos so far), the artichoke pie, fried calamari, and my fave on the menu was the homemade pie they made on premise (best chocolate pie I’ve ever had). Didn’t love as much the grilled sardines, zucchini flowers, or seafood pasta. Great cozy local vibes. Lots of Greek families. When you go to an island for the first time and end up having most of your meals at the same place… that says something in itself, doesn’t it? This seaside restaurant was definitely one of the highlights of my visit on the island. The food is absolutely delicious, the portions pretty massive especially in the context of the price tags, the atmosphere wonderful with full unobstructed view of the sea and the staff simply excellent. Use of local and seasonal ingredients combined with creative approach on each dish just elevates the culinary experience. Highly recommended restaurant, I say no more. The view is beautiful! Right infront of the water! Highly recommend doing apps and small plates. Skip on the fresh fish, and stick to what you know! Somehow we ended up with their catch of the day and it expensive ($130 just for a fish we didn’t eat) it was meaty and chewy! Overall, it was overpriced you basically pay for the view, and food was just average. There are a lot of nicer reasonable and more tasty places on the island. So if you’re looking for a view go enjoy it with something light but if you want amazing food then skip! Food is good! Nice for a lunch break after beach. They charge the water, even if you don't drink it ! View is great. We enjoyed having lunch at Like Salt - had lots of Greek salads, calamari, tsatsiki, some fish, all were delicious. Definitely worth a visit while on Tinos. We absolutely loved Like Salt: food was well thought-through and not your run of the mill Greek food aimed at tourists. Great wine list. The open front looking out on the sea was so beautiful, adding to the cosy atmosphere.
