Nice with great cakes and savouries. That's a little gem! Their cakes are amazing and not too sweet, good selection of teas. is really nice. They even have Guinness on a tap! First time we went it was and we thought we’d make it a regular spot. We’ve been several times since and are at the point where we’ve decided to just not go anymore. The coffee is nice and the food is OK if overpriced. But it’s always either closed or rammed with families and kids running around. Something about the acoustics in there make is so that a screaming kid on one side of the big open room, makes it sound like they’re right next to you. Also it can take an age to get served. Last time we stood nearly 10 minutes in the queue before giving up and leaving. It’s a real shame because if you’re more tolerant of noise and more patient in a queue than me I’m sure you’ll love it. On paper it’s a little but it just doesn’t follow through with the experience. After a long beach walk this on the edge of the car park was perfect. Dog with breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. We had coffees and a toastie but were certainly tempted by the array of traybakes and cakes. A cute little pet-friendly spot in Portnoo. We only went in for coffee, but we were warmly welcomed and the doggo's each got a free puppachino. The were really friendly. A must-visit if you’re in the area. Great selection of food catering for different dietary requirements and are very friendly. It’s a popular spot so can be busy but always worth the wait! Très bel endroit pour boire un coup et finger foods après une belle balade sur la plage ! We were delighted to see Pirates of the Coffeebean open again after a little break. We had a meal on Saturday evening - the nacho loaded fries, and bolognaise fries, and both were so delicious. Everything tasted so yummy and fresh and we’ve been thinking about it ever since!! The Baileys’s mocha was to die for too, a real revelation. It’s a wee spot with great coffees, cakes, pizzas and snacks and staff. Well worth a visit if you’re in the area and perfect place for a coffee after a walk along the beach. 5 Stars in every respect! We visited every day for 4 weeks, as we did last summer. All of the food was delicious. Our family favourites were: Cinnamon bun (the best) Overnight oats Ham & cheese croissant Spicy chicken on sourdough bread/focaccia Parma ham & pear pizza Everything at Pirates was just as good if not better than we get back home in London. Excellent service, happy and smiley ….. We'll be back again next year. The Kenny Family Our favourite regular place in Donegal! Everyone is so kind. The food is always delicious : salad, soup, and the new evening menu is incredible! Just so happy to come here all the time! Because of the success it gets busy at summertime : best to come off-peak if you can. A great place for the whole family anytime in the day. Handily placed for the beach and very reasonable pricewise. Excellent sausage rolls ! A spot right beside the beach. The food was lovely, were and very helpful. Its dog too which was an added bonus so we didn't have to worry about our pooch being too hot in the car. Will definately return the next time we're in the area! Gorgeous food, and really good gluten free options. servers too. Must stop. Great coffee. Great soup. Great sandwich. Right along the beach. Excellent stop after hiking. Great atmosphere. staff. Stayed at the caravan park beside the for the 2nd year in a row and would be in throughout the whole weekend. The are so and professional, the food is always great and we loved the seaside decor inside. Beautiful food, coffee and service. Nicest I've been to in a while Fantastic food in a fantastic location.
