Nice stuff but way too expensive. Interesting to watch the weaver machine at work. They also had a model of an old weaver house. Three tour busses stopped and they only had one register open. An excellent visit if in Ardara. The weaving is excellent. A family run business with the local community at it's heart. I am z private tour guide and my clients always enjoy their visit. Everyone working there is friendly and couldn't do enough for you. If you are looking for locally made irish wool products, this is the place. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Prices are reasonable and will even ship your purchase home if you have already maxed out your bag. Loom is also on site for those interested in how it's made. I had a nice visit here. One of the ladies kindly showed us how the material was woven. I also got myself a really cute sweater. Clothes are pricy but understandably so considering how much work goes into each one. Worth a visit, would recommend. Beautiful and beautifully hand-woven garments. Demonstrations on the weaving process from raw wool to finished garment. My sister and I had a very pleasant visit to this shop in mid-October 2024. We enjoyed the complimentary Irish coffee, the weaving demonstration, the little museum at the back of the shop, and merchandise in the store. We each found high quality woolen goods to purchase. Excellent experience! We first learned how the raw wool is sent out to be cleaned, dyed and spun, then returned to be woven (a brief, but inspiring, loom was provided) and made into beautiful garments. Their selections, colors and patterns made it difficult to make a choice on the piece I wanted, but the salespeople were so patient and helpful. Customer service was top-notch - unlike anything I've experienced in the States! It was a fantastic addition to our tour of Ireland!! My wife is a weaver, and their work is exemplary! We love their clothing! We enjoyed a weaving and an Irish coffee! Great staff! The was so cool and their shop was filled with local goods. Very nice tweed jackets for both men and women. Ended up getting a few things as well! The staff was very nice and helpful as well! We came in off chance with a small group of 10 with a guide. Nobody bought anything and the guide was told very bluntly by one of the sellers that this was expected. Most stuff an acquired taste and rather pricey. I was looking to buy a cap, but that same guy scowling just wasn't inviting. Undoubtedly a great place for travellers from across the pond or Asia.
