I'd advise though a any of the year is delightful and in some ways better outside of the busy few weeks in April and May when the woods are in full bloom. The offers a really range of cakes, snacks and drinks which are just perfect following an amble around the and woodland. These are kept very neat with name tags by the plants. Decent parking and you can pay by card (think it was £11 for adults and £4.50 kids). We will definitely be going back again Very nice immaculately kept. Spent the afternoon admiring the colourful pants and excellent park with its flamingoes, ducks, chickens and the stag, which turnef out of being a statue. They also had a nice cafe/restaurant. Lots of free parking, too. Like you're walking in a postcard! A must-see for gardening enthousiasts. We had a visiting this at the start of August, and the flower beds looked gorgeous and effortless, even though, of course, the opposite is true. I had the most delicious (still warm!) scone, and their assortment of cakes is impressive. So is the plant nursery! A good chance you will not leave empty- handed. I hope to come back someday! I've visited many in my time, and this one is truly spectacular! The ten acre has so much variety, and it has a wonderful tranquil atmosphere. Beyond the garden, there is a five acre wood (that was magical to walk through) and a wildflower meadow. The was wonderful, offering a range of delicious, reasonably priced homemade food. The soups and sandwiches really hit the spot! This is well worth a at any of the year. What a lovely garden. We have been coming here for a number of years and thoroughly recommend buying the ticket. From snowdrops and bluebells in the spring to colours in the summer and autumn the experience is wonderful, and I haven't even mentioned the cafe. Very relaxing environment. Coton manor didn't open until 11.30, and the only morning bus route got here at 10.15, so keep that in mind! There is nothing to do in the area if you have spare before they open. Ticket prices are reasonable. The themselves are very beautiful, and it is clear they have been cared for with care and detail by the incredible gardeners here! I especially loved the species of and flowers and all of the dynamic uses of water around the gardens. I was planning on bringing my young daughter but didn't, I definitely wouldn't suggest bringing a young child here as there are no activities or places to play and you are not allowed picnics on the grounds so I imagine they would be very bored. However, going without children was a pleasant experience overall. The options are underwhelming with quite high prices, but the themselves were fab, and there were hundreds of plant options in the nursery! Was sceptical about paying £10 entry per adult, but it's honestly worth it in my opinion. The are spectacular and incredibly well maintained by 3 full gardeners. There are 6 flamingoes, chickens roaming free and huge pigs to see. The looks and would be nice in the sunshine. There's a small 'shop' where you can buy apple juice, jams, etc and a massive selection of for sale. Never fails to please. that even in early Oxtober had lots of colour.
