Wonderful cafe! So glad we came here after taking a trip to Bridgewater. Very cosy and charming and the staff were so friendly and efficient. Menu is very extensive. The coffee is fantastic and they do oat milk which is great. The food was exceptional also. Amazing place, it has been a long time that I didn’t enjoy such meal! Staff is really lovely too. Amazing food and lovely staff! Always a great time when we visit! Dog friendly so our dogs really enjoyed their time with us having brunch! Amazing sausage rolls, toast options and huge and tasty breakfast burritos! The coffees are lovely and made with patience too!! Such an amazing spot, Arklow is lucky to have it! Everything on the menu is and regular new specials make it fun to get something a bit different. The coffee is fantastic and the staff are even better. Lots of vegan options and twists. We love coming here for food and drinks, the outdoor space is really nice too and doggo friendly, can't rate this place highly enough! Our dishes were super and looked gorgeous 😋 The gluten free bread was super tasty. The coffee was also tasty, though my flat white was a bit too milky. We also got some sweets for takeaway, they also have gluten free and vegan options. Highly recommend it 🤗 We dined beneath sun umbrellas in Loco Grocer's garden this week and what a treat! I chose the Melt and my daughter had a Coronation Chicken sandwich. Both were inventive and the mix of flavours was delicious. Each person who dealt with us was engaging, friendly and very efficient. We'll definitely be back! Fantastic vegan fare!! Was disappointed when I arrived too late the evening before to the Happy Pear. Ran into Fergus the next day who guided me to his daughters restraunt in Arklow, which exceeded my expectations for high quality, whole food, plant based food! Delish!! And Thanx for shouting me lunch Fergus! Definitely one of the highlights of my 2300 km bike tour around Ireland! Never thought I’d see the day when Arklow served me something that wasn’t beige and deep-fried, but LOCO Grocer has pulled off the impossible. Their avocado toast? Genuinely delicious. In Arklow terms, that’s basically Michelin-starred. And the chocolate cake… to die for. Which is fitting, because I nearly keeled over from the shock of finding world class cake in Arklow, of all places. If you told me I’d eat something here that didn’t come out of a chip bag or a deli counter, I’d have laughed in your face. So yeah, hats off to LOCO Grocer. Who knew Arklow’s biggest attraction wouldn’t be the road out of it, but a slice of chocolate cake?
