Super nice Golf Club with plenty of heritage. It was a challenging and enjoyable course with some hazard but very well conditions. Pro Shop well equiped. Food and the restaurant is very good Didn't get playing as only out for a drive but the course looks fabulous and would be well suited for players who prefer playing flat courses. The Young lad in the Pro shop was extremely helpful. Recommended by our B&B host booked a tee time the day before, think we were very lucky! A stunning Parkland course in immaculate condition, possibly the best Parkland Course I have played. Everything about Woodenbridge is IMHO very special and would highly recommend playing here if you ever got the opportunity. The description as 'The Augusta of Ireland' is well-deserved and accurate. Quite simply stunning! If you can achieve less than 36 putts in your round, then take a bow. Ratings: Course: 10/10 Catering / Bar: 8/10 (arrived at 10:30 wanting coffee and snack but they were closed). Unusual. Post game drinks excellent. Proshop: 8/10 No "welcome to...enjoy your game". 2 staff in deep conversation and the server remained seated and seemingly disinterested when conducting a sale with me. Will I return...YES. It's probably one of the nicest courses I've played, fantastic scenery. And really good food in the clubhouse when you're finished the round. Simply stunning. Visited and played here May 2025 and was in awe of the scenery surrounding the course. The course is brilliant with some stunning tee shots over the river. A good challenge to all golfers. Looking forward to playing again in 2026. Fabulous course, in great condition. But scenery is out of this world. Even if you are not hitting the ball well, the walk in these surroundings will do your heart and mind a power of good. We played Woodenbrige golf club today. the course if good but the pro shop was unfriendly. We arrived on a rainy windy day with few other golfers. although they advertise 'deals' for walk-ins....we got nothing. they failed to tell us the greens on the back nine had been punched that morning.
