This is the best chipper I have ever been in in years its the first ever in Ireland that the chip's were made when we ordered them its usually just repeats all the the place was very clean and it was busy at the the staff were very friendly we will definitely be going back again for a visit Returned here last week but was very disappointed with the this as the were very hard must of been using new potatoes but will call again to check soon Spotless place staff so lovely and owner always so welcoming Nicest take way or sit in . Recommend to family home on holidays and there was 6 of them all loved it . Gluten free too 10/10 last 20 years but I must say don’t try delivery the wait is a disgrace Good value. Really tasty food. Excellent staff. We were on a night out in Gorey and were advised by locals to go here for food. Can't beat fish and for a fiver (special). Fresh cut and good fish with a crispy batter. Staff were friendly and went out of their way to help us find a taxi number to get us back to Courtown I ordered two chicken wraps and had to return them due to how poorly they were prepared. They were so sloppily assembled that they completely fell apart, making them almost impossible to eat. A wrap, by definition, should be properly wrapped to allow for convenient, mess-free eating — this was a complete mess. When I politely requested a refund, the chef responded in a very unprofessional and rude manner. If someone claims to have been making wraps for 40, they should certainly know how to wrap one properly so that the contents don’t fall out. The whole experience was extremely disappointing — both the food quality and the customer service. I cannot recommend this place based on what I encountered. That was not my first but definitely last time. For a fast food place the service and the food was equally wonderful. Great spot for something quick and easy to eat in or take out. The lady on the phone was so nice and friendly also the delivery driver was so pleasant , the food was absolutely gorgeous.Everything was so FRESH. The where so tasty , nicest iv tasted. 👌🏽 We personally love the food, great chicken nuggets but delivery of over 1 hour consistently when you live half a mile away is bad. Always over 1 hour and often delayed further. Phone skills could be improved some are very nice one or 2 staff not good on phone. Overall we would and do return I've had more than one horrible experience here. Apart from seeing one of the workers actually picking from a fresh batch and eating them, the service is consistently awful. The staff is mostly slow, confused and indifferent. My order was so slow it took up most of my lunch break, I cancelled it and went across the road. Would not recommend, doesn't compare to King Cod for service and quality. Can't give zero or minus stars. Won't be returning.
