We had fun with the children, but you will need a pocket full of money with you. It's a bit of craic , had a ball. Bumper boats and were the highlights. Like everything else these days, you do feel like you are being fleeced for every last penny. 45 quid or something for a round of is totally mad. But hey, if people will pay it, they will charge it. I visited today to go bowling, we booked by ringing and it was very easy to book a slot. We arrived a little early but were able to start anyways. It was 38 euro for 4 people for an hour. If you try to do one game in 30 minutes then you should fit in 2 games. However the game seemed kind of rigged, I scored a spare and it said I got 3 and it happened more than once. The staff were really nice and friendly and it wasn’t busy because it was off-season. It’s something fun to do in Courtown especially on rainy days when things are closed. I really enjoyed it but the mistakes in the game were a real let down to be honest. Brilliant 👍 was fun, Our lads luved it, only downside was amusements were expensive, double then tramore, 4 quid for 1 game for two people. ---- Reply to their response, the amusements in Pirates Cove :) day out for the family. Loved the mini golf, enjoyed the arcade. We had a family day out. We played golf, spent some time in the amusements and went on the bumper boats. We had ice cream, which was delicious. The place was very well maintained and the staff were lovely. Probably the best tourist attraction in Courtown!! The mini-golf is one of the best I've played including ones in Florida. Can be a bit noisy when full of but plenty to do for and adults alike.... place to bring the kids. was good craic.. well maintained course. Some narrow steps throughout course leading to next tee box. Big arcade inside. Bowling. The water bumper cars area looks cool. Very small area though. We always have fun here , the love it. I myself used to go as a child so it brings back fond memories for me. I can’t say that it’s changed much at all. There is room for some improvements and updating of facilities however for what it is , it serves its purpose well. The is family fun Not our 1st time out at Courtown/ Pirates cove. 7 yr old had a ball and so did we. The was crack, daughter enjoyed the irregular steps, thought they were hilarious. Young staff always try their best, very aware of the customers needs and deal with children very well and very engaging. Arcade games always a buzz, especially when you can win tickets for a bracelet or an eraser, not slagging, me daughter loved the idea of winning tickets. Highly recommend. We visited pirate cove to play mini golf, which was brilliant. It was so much fun. There are 18 holes in total and each one were very different. I even managed to get a whole in one much to my delight. Once we finished we wanted to get an ice-cream and a drink but unfortunately the staff member told us the the cafe was not open which was a Shame as there was only a few customers in the place. Still a place though. Going here years, best family fun around for all ages. Look forward to it every holiday and the just love it. A big shout out to Jackie who made the visit that bit extra special. Brilliant customer service Jackie and her team at Pirates Cove looked after our football team exceptionally well on Saturday last! Couldn’t have been more helpful, customer service. Our group had a time playing and the inflatables as well as the arcades. Would highly recommend. Thanks Jackie!!
