Such an interesting place to visit. The volunteers are fantastic and really make the information they provide come to life during the pre tour talk in the centre. After the talk we were brought outside on a walk around the area where the rescued are looked after and brought back to health before their return to the wild. My wife and I visited Seal Rescue Ireland last Saturday and were truly touched by the amazing work they do. The staff are incredibly kind and passionate, and they explain with great care how small human actions, like getting too close to a baby seal, can cause serious harm, even leading mothers to abandon their pups. We learned it’s important to stay at least 100 meters away to protect these vulnerable animals. Without their mothers, pups struggle to survive and lose their natural place in the wild. This is a beautiful, eye opening experience. I highly recommend visiting, it’s not just about seals, it’s about kindness, respect for nature, and supporting a wonderful cause. Lovely 30mins tour of the facility. This not a zoo, it's very much a rescue center to get them back into the wild. You are asked not to interact with the and be respectful which I loved to hear. Perfect for kids & adults fun and valuable education. We absolutely loved our with Seal Rescue Ireland! It’s an incredible place where compassion for animals meets true dedication to marine conservation. The team is inspiring, and the entire organization leaves a lasting impression. Thank you for the amazing work you do! We did the rescuer for a day! So amazing, educational and fun. We were able to be up close with the and what this organization does day after day. Definitely a getting your hands dirty experience. We went In August, when there are seal pups- adorable. It was great to these wild animals and support such a great organization. Note- As Americans coming in from Dublin without a car- getting there on time ish was nearly impossible and very expensive. And getting back was nearly as hard. If I were to do it again, I would spend the night before in town. Five-Star Review for Seal Rescue Centre The Seal Rescue Centre is an incredible place doing truly meaningful work. You can feel the dedication and passion of the team who care for these vulnerable marine animals. The centre is not just about rescuing and rehabilitating emaciated or orphaned seals. It’s also a hub for education and awareness, and they do an outstanding job of engaging visitors of all ages. Hearing the stories of the they’ve saved and seeing them recover is both heartwarming and inspiring. It’s evident that the team pours their hearts into every rescue, rehabilitation, and eventual release. Also keeping them wild. I highly recommend this centre to anyone looking for an educational, uplifting day out. It’s a fantastic place for families, animal lovers, or anyone who wants to make a difference. The Seal Rescue Centre deserves all the support it can get for the incredible work they do. We had a great touring the Seal Rescue! The team was very friendly and Bea was a fantastic guide. She answered all of our questions and was very knowledgeable. Would recommend this to anyone! My wife and I visited SRI two weekends ago and participated as part of the Volunteer for a Day option on their website. It was amazing! We both enjoyed it so much and learnt so much. We were under the care of Dani for the majority of the day and she was a great teacher and guide throughout the facility, which seems to be run really well. Overall we were so happy to see such an important job done by people who genuinely care so much and would recommend the to all Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
