Greeks, Byzantines, Franks, the Dukes of Epirus, Catalans, and Ottomans were among the owners of this castle. Even today, the former barracks serve as a museum (currently under renovation). The view is spectacular, and access is quite easy, as a car can get all the way to the main gate. Incredible view. A lot of work in progress. Once completed and the museum opened it will be a must visit! i fell in love with the sight its incredible A breathtaking view of the city and its suburbs, a well-organized exposition in the archeological museum… and just a good attraction for walking/hiking!
