This place is a weird spot, basically a rundown truck stop for tour buses. Food was cold, unexciting, and overpriced. Bathrooms existed. Neighbors are an abandoned gas station and a disused tunnel under the highway. There are a few semi-resident cats who seem well cared for. Our tour stopped here for a quick bathroom and snack break. Very clean. The bathroom isn't like an American toilet. Be prepared to hover as there is no seat. We tried the pomegranate juice. It was tart but yummy. A bit pricey. Meals not too warm as well. I also was surprised at the cash desk when I was told no card - cash only. No information about no card payments at all in tge local. So there is a big no for me. Therefore only two stars overall. We stopped here twice on our tour of Greece, coming and going to Meteora. The Pomegranate juice was flavorful and refreshing, the restrooms were clean, and I even had the opportunity to try some Ouzo (and pick up a bottle to take home.) It definitely gets crowded at times but the stops worked out fine for us. Be careful!!! They cheat people for money!!! I ordered two espressos. I should have paid 6 euros and then I was charged 36 euros. I brought it to the seller's attention and he immediately refunded me 30 euros. He didn't even want to verify the receipt… A moment earlier, my friend bought food and an additional 10 euros was added to his bill. Of course, the lady serving the food was constantly rushing everyone, creating an atmosphere of rush... Btw the food was very poor. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! They cheat people :( Our bus stopped here for a restroom break but the water flow in the toilets made it very difficult to use as waste would not flush down but I was just thankful there was a toilet. Just be prepared for that if using the restrooms here. The food is fine but no joke the most expensive food we’ve had in Greece. I spent $20 for two small pieces of sausage, some fries, and tzatziki. The staff was also a little standoffish, trying to micromanage which table we sat at. Overall would not recommend stopping here unless nature is really calling.
