I was suprised that you can drive onto this beach. With so little street parking options I guess it makes sense. There is beautiful to and play in and a gentle out into the surf so you can experience the water without it getting too deep too fast. The water didn't seem too cold so on a hit, sunny day it'd be nice for cooling off. There are also many restaurants and cafes to choose from in the small sea-side city. Nice little car park and a slight incline up to the beach. Rocks to climb down to get to the sand. Sand is really soft and easy to on. The statue on the is fab, and the saxophone player statue on top of the wall is amazing. Its nice Went for a stroll here yesterday. So beautiful. Weather was amazing, and the was beautiful. Hard to believe it was only half an hour away from home. Not too busy, loads of parking, and a few people fishing and others were sunbathing. Scenery is lovely. little but not a huge amount of good quality sand. When I visited the was almost deserted apart from a couple of dog walkers. I was watching the tide come in which was rather spectacular with its crashing, foamy waves gradually eating up the beach. It was wonderful to feel escaped from the hustle and bustle of life and be mesmerised by the enveloping waves. It was also great to see lifeguards on duty. The car park is rather small but still rather usable. Only downside: no washroom. But fantastic peaceful beach. Definitely recommend It is nice a small and some pretty views. Dog friendly but nothing really there. Not really a you would travel to. Could do with a cafe near by. No WC facilities But free car park and a nice place to sit in the car and watch the sea. This is definitely not a holiday resort and it is a shame as it could be made more of. I was initially going to give this place less stars, with a somewhat unremarkable looking with no surrounding views, but after staying the night here,I think it’s amazing! DOG FRIENDLY 🙏🙏 🐶 There is a free carpark, with no height restrictions, so can park a large vehicle overnight. You can face directly to the ocean so waking up with a view out the window. *please note…the carpark is also a meeting place for youngsters at night, so you may need earplugs, however they are all really friendly and not the scary type, if that type of thing worries you. Some rubbish in the carpark which was left by people in cars during the day, but this was cleaned up by a gentleman in the morning, just doing it out of the goodness of his heart. Lovely, friendly local man. *PLEASE TAKE YOUR RUBBISH HOME AND HELP THEM KEEP THIS PLACE TIDY 🙏🙏🙏 Woke up the next morning and made breakfast. Everyone who past was super friendly and made me feel really comfortable there, unlike many places we’ve stopped for the night. Nice place for a swim, with various crops of and coves and along the beach, with no waves or dodgy currents. Also a little cliff which starts at the carpark. Initially the looks pretty standard, with a view of a working quarry and not much to see, but once you pass that, there are some views of the coast and local countryside, with a couple of places to stop along the way to bathe or rest. LOVELY! Amazing town fabulous facilities was spotless friendly people Small and quiet. can change from fine to pebbles. One of my favorite spots for an evening walk. Unfortunately some dog owners don’t pick up their dog’s business which is very upsetting. One of my favourite places in the world. It's quite a stony but so to sit and watch boats come in and out of the harbour. If you're looking for pure sand, then visit 'the cove' right beside south 🏖️ photos with stones are south & sandy photos are the cove 😁 Ein schöner Strand am Atlantik.
