The ladies we dealt with on the Sunday afternoon were lovely and very dedicated to looking after the cats in their care. Well looked after, clean cages, plenty of toys etc. Highly recommend adopting a cat from here. Rang at 10pm with a very ill kitten to be seen. Got straight through to Eoghan the vet on call. Was seen in the surgery 30 mins later and kitten got excellent care we got clear advice. Can't recommend them enough. Nwspca share the site with gorey vet hospital. Although the review is for the hospital I think equally highly of the nwspca. We sorced our jack Russel from them. Very easy to deal with, my mother in law got a perfectly matched dog from them. They made the process easy for her, checked out the suitability of her garden and the dog was able to be collected within a couple of days of starting enquiries. Faboulous rescue....Wonderful kennels and cattery. Volunteers and managers are very helpful and cats and dogs well looked after.... I can't emphasis enough, how much it helps the pets and the shelter by homing one of the many rescue animals and giving them a second chance of happiness! Geraldine is amazing as are the Foster parents such as Catherine and others who work tirelessly to support the rescued animals. Please help by adopting or fostering from NWSPCA and always neuter your pets, it saves untold misery in the long term. I can't tell you how much joy rescue animals bring to your home, I've just welcomed a tabby boy and possibly a tabby girl!
