Comfortable accommodation and lovely staff. Great location. Beautiful views and lovely interior (especially old manor part) but needs a bit if work. I'm totally in love with the old fireplaces and main hall. Great place for short getaway as fab location, also nice kids activities. Has surprisingly big conference room (~100 peoole) with DJ station and pool and table tennis in the basement. Most of the rooms have bathrooms in good condition, the ones on the corridor not great. Fantastic centre for groups to stay at, that is both cheap enough to make it affordable, and good enough facilities that parents and other older people aren't appalled! I've been here for kids camps, student retreats and church weekends away, and each time it's been great. These visits were 20 years apart from each other, but the place has always been managed well enough so that it isn't falling apart, despite the challenges of keeping a place of that size and age going. The hillside nature of the site, makes it not the most child-proof place (for safety), but that hasn't stopped thousands of kids and families being well managed on the site over these years. Most recently, I was in charge of audio-visual activities at a weekend away there, and they have all the basics you could want. A few working mics, an Hdmi connector, a jack for sound from a laptop, a few DI boxes for guitars etc, a keyboard, and an old but working (mostly!) sound board. If you are precious about creating a wonderful sound, I'd bring your own stuff, but for us it was ideal and saved us a lot of time and energy. Camps and adventure weekends at the Manor are always a lot of fun and such an enjoyment for all who attend. If you get the opportunity to go, do! Great retreat spot for young people. Some rooms a bit cramped but facilities good and a great getaway location. This is our family's most favourite place in Ireland to spend the weekend. The setting is breathtaking and the house and grounds are well kept. It's the people who make it though. When you stay you don't want to leave. The scenery is beautiful. The Manor is close to Avoca village and the Wooden bridge Hotel ; however you won't want to leave the Manor ! Absolutely amazing place, my kids loved the camp. Such a blessing 🙌 Wonderful place for recharge your Spirit/mind/body..... View is amazing came here many times and very satisfied ( even bought northern lights there ) The best Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
