I just happened to find Falconry Ireland while searching for “things to do” round my hotel, and what a treasure this turned out to be. The owner, Laurence, is so knowledgeable about his it was a pleasure listening to him and I learnt a lot. Before the hawking session he gave me a comprehensive safety lesson and then we began. Incredible I never thought I would ever do. Laurence has a very impressive selection of of prey, including eagles, hawks and owls, I can’t recommend Falconry Ireland high enough. Our falconry visit with Laurence was great! It was such a unique and we learned a lot about the hawks, owls and falcons. This was our best in Ireland. Lawrence is so knowledgeable and you can tell he really takes care of the of prey and loves them. We love and asked so many questions and he answered them all. Even if you are remotely into this is an incredible that we will not forget. It’s worth the price and the drive. I was so happy to have been able to learn and falconry and learn more. I would highly recommend this as anyone’s part of their vacation in Ireland or people who live there that is looking for more to do. Spent 2 hours here today with my cousin, we had the absolute best afternoon, we learned so much about the various birds, loved our with the Harris hawk and meeting some of the other birds. Our guide was a fountain of knowledge and you could see how much he cared about his birds. What a day, thank you What an incredible experience! We got to head into the woods with Sabre the Harris Hawk and learnt how to call Sabre to us while feeding and flying through the woods. We then had the opportunity to learn about the training that goes into falconry, and learning about owls and handling a few as well which was incredible, and then finished with a falcon hunting. Thank you Laurence for the amazing experience. What an amazing experience! To see them close up and to hold them. The owner knows everything there is to know and teach you about these amazing birds. Me and my Wife were extremely excited about doing this and They exceeded of expectations 10fold very knowledgeable staff and the assortment of was incredible. We got to Fly the harris hawk Midnight and the small group setting was amazing. Got to hold a few owls too. Got to see Charlie a Snowy Owl who was beautiful. It's well worth the trip! A most enjoyable couple of hours. The are amazing, as is their handler/trainer, Laurence. It's so obvious that the love him and he loves them, which makes it a fantastic for everyone, especially the birds. Well worth a visit.
