Great staff and atmosphere. Outside Smoking place that's great cover and TV outside. Was here yesterday for a Christening Celebration. Lovely staff, efficient and not at all intrusive. Sandwiches were fantastic. Best I ever had in a pub ! The hot food was very tasty and everyone was impressed. So family friendly. Keep it up, don't change a thing.👍👏 Came in for a pint and to watch the match with my boyfriend, this past bank holiday weekend. Prices are the same as everywhere else. However this is definitely what you would deem as an “old man pub”. As a young woman I felt uncomfortable, even with my boyfriend next to me. There is plenty other pubs in the area if you’re similar to me and would get uncomfortable from being stared at. Overall just wasn’t my cup of tea and I would not come here again. Ernie's is a perfect pub. The team working in there are incredibly and efficient at keeping the busy bar running. The locals are all just as and happy to leave you to it or invite you in for chats, whatever your choice. It has a lovely dark wood and leather finish and front and back smoking areas / beer gardens. Best pub in Wicklow town (oh and you know, the pints aren't bad either :D). Beautiful set up. Warm environment. Your always made feel welcome. Large selection to pick from when it comes to drinks wines spirts. I'd recommend a weekend visit especially when they have a selection of sport on TV. Atmosphere is amazing. Keep up your fine work and efforts. We went there for a beer and the athmosphare was just great!
