From the moment I arrived, there was a sense of peace the property is beautiful, with well kept gardens and a truly tranquil atmosphere. Ambience & Comfort The house is stylish, quiet, and cozy exactly how you imagine a classic Irish B&B. My room was spacious, bright, and spotlessly clean, with a comfortable bed and an ensuite bathroom featuring both a bath and a shower. A Breakfast to Remember Breakfast was freshly prepared, wholesome, and delicious. The homemade bread and granola were absolute highlights the perfect start to the day! Hosts Who Truly Care Jo and Jim are outstanding hosts warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. They greet you like an old friend, offer great local recommendations, and truly go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. Perfect Location The property is peaceful and private, yet just minutes away from Gorey town centre. There’s secure, convenient parking and easy access to the train station as well. If you’re looking for comfort, cleanliness, tranquility, and genuine hospitality Railway Country House B&B is the place to be. I would happily return and recommend it wholeheartedly! Lovely quiet warm rooms. Great beds...slept so well. Great location...easy access to surrounding area. Jo is amazing...worked so hard to make our stay a pleasant one. Breakfast was more than adequate...great cold selection and then lovely salmon and scrambled eggs...home made porridge bread just gorgeous. Access to a beautiful lounge with TV with Sky. Friendliest dogs ever. We will def be returning.
