Lovely Café with friendly staff and small menu (which I like because it means they're doing fewer things better). Had the Haloumi sliders, what a delight. Also the espresso was spot on with the right degree of bitterness and beautiful cream. Lastly if you're a sweet tooth you'll also feel like home here. Had some pastry topped with cream and raspberry. Just great! We had and it was yummy! The place is small but very cute and well decorated. The white pudding was the tastiest I've ever eaten here in Ireland! The only negative point was that on the menu it was sourdough bread and the normal white bread came without explanation. Anyway, I recommend it! It's one of the best brekkie I've had in a long time. Had the gronola and partner had a veggie brekkie. We turned up early, and the people were lovely and welcoming. They definitely recommend 👌 a1++++++++ Absolutely wonderful creamy and scrambled egg with beautiful bacon and fresh sourdough with this beautiful relish. It was so tasty. I got myself a pot of Earl Grey tea and my friend got the vegetarian breakfast. She was so pleased and we both got the delicious warm chocolate brownie afterwards highly recommend this Before or after the beach. ❤️ The reason I am leaving feedback here is the waitress ignored my feedback and didn't bother with any apology. We had to ask twice to order (although the waitress was having nice chats with her mate...ie not busy). The came out so overcooked the sausages were black. My coffee took longer to get than the overcooked food, and the water my son asked for twice didn't arrive. But what annoyed me the most was not even the hint of an apology when I was asked how our was. And I gave that feedback nicely (ie...I wasn't being rude). Delightful cafe with parking spaces with plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. Lovely and smiley staff added to the easy and chill atmosphere of the cafe. The coffee for starters was fab, not bitter and well done milk for the flat white. Lots of nutty aromas from the beans swirled through the cafe. We had a rugby players portion of porridge with a lovely fruit compote which wasn't overcooked to a stiff cloggy mass but surprisingly refreshing. The veggie brekkie was a-MAYZING. It usually is served with sourdough bread but due to dietary restrictions I was accommodated to the bread free option. the tomato chutney was a true highlight really adding to the creamy feta and avocado served purposefully with the ozzingly fried egg. The whole ensemble was just such a treat although I'd love more herby/salty vibes to accompany the mushrooms. If you are in the area or driving past it is a MUST visit spot to refresh, rejuvenate and recharge (with delish cawfee). Fab job and thanks a mil for a delightful visit!
