It's a well known traditional Irish bar in Gorey main street. Always packed for the Thursday night traditional music session. Friendly, pleasant atmosphere. Could do with a deep clean. Real olde world pub. Car park out back. Just watch out for the different levels/ steps in the Pub Lovely bar. Good atmosphere and people there. Plus the stout is decent too. A real little gem of an old style irish pub. The atmosphere was like walking back in time.... Fantastic pint of Guinness as well. The only downside that I would suggest is maybe a little bit of repair work to some walls in the bar, holes and a lot dirt showing. I know this kind of adds to the character of the place but if repaired, it wouldn't effect the it much. Spent a lovely Sunday afternoon there last month. They have a great IPA available on tap called Yellowbelly. A throw back to the old style pub,some could say it needs a Facelift but sometimes things are best left alone.had a nice relaxing Sunday morning pint.great Guinness ☺️. good big smoking area also.
