Great quality of food, super tasty and the portions are very generous. Superb coffee, and the attention is really a 5 stars. We spent around 50€ with all this + a coffee to go, so it’s pretty decent for Irish prices. Probably one of the best Avoca’s. I had lunch here in the restaurant 'Avoca' Ashford, Co Wicklow, mid week. Lovely place. Its beautiful. There are gardens attached if you want to go for a stroll after dinner. I was so well fed I didn't need any evening meal. I will return. K The best food I've tasted in Ireland since my arrival 8 years ago. Absolutely perfect from start to finish with regular menu changes that never disappoint 🙂. Just put 4 stars on service as there is no toilets inside the restaurant and I had to change my baby's nappy in the entrance main disabled toilet, which is not heated... Not great when you have a baby.... This place is great! The ambience is basically perfect. It is a horticulturist dream. It feels something like getting back to nature and then having the faeries bring you a gourmet brekkie. Really good, really fresh food, brought to you by kind people in a beautiful setting. Amazing food and staff, incredible garden views. A lovely experience and highly recommend. A fantastic Irish breakfast An amazing place to have breakfast or lunch! We arrived around 9:30 am, not long after they opened. We were immediately seated upon arrival. Server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We both had Americano's which were amazing! 👏 Food arrived hot and was the best meal we've eaten since our arrival to Ireland 🇮🇪 😋 Fresh, quality ingredients that all went well together ❤️ I highly recommend this place! The gardens were absolutely wonderful and spent hours wandering along the paths and enjoying the stunning foliage and flowers! Gina in the shop/where you purchase the garden tickets was delightful and very knowledgeable about the gardens and also assisted me with several questions I had regarding gifts and seeds I was purchasing! I thoroughly enjoyed my day here!! We came to Wicklow with our guests for a few days, and we didn’t want to leave without visiting Mount Usher Gardens. Afterwards, we decided to grab something to eat in Avoca. Overall, the food was not too bad, but the bun of the burger I ordered was burnt, and the prices were quite a bit above the norm. It’s definitely a nice spot to stop for coffee, but I don’t think we would choose it again for food. Had food here after my wedding and it was amazing, the staff were brilliant and very nice, one of the waitress's even moved us to a nice table with a view of the gardens. They congratulated us and made us feel so welcome. The food was unreal, best burger I have ever eaten. We received two free personalised desserts with congratulations written in chocolate sauce which we were overjoyed with. We loved it so much we are going to make it our go to place for all occasions.
