Even though as of February 2024 we didn't find any hot springs here, the in the small pool to the right from the church was hardly warm, and there were waves even with north winds. But the hiking trail is definitely nice to walk, no difficult parts on it, and you can get to the begginyg of the trail by car by tough but still bearable for one car only with small spots from time to time to let another car pass by. Luckily there were no cars on the way in our case, but I would highly recommend to start walking as soon as off way starts. Le lieu manque un peu d 'entretien Panagia Kryfti in a natural protected area at Lesvos Greece. It is a special landscape (natural and cultural) of the Lesvos Geopark, which requires protection from excessive pressures with the appropriate form of management and promotion. The area of Panagia Kryfti, is located on the steep rocky shores of Plomari district, 5 nautical miles west of the port. Where the stone meets the wave, and faith stands still amidst the wild landscape. W O W! Remeber u have to there both ways a long time (depends on class of your car- because driving there is hardcore experience, my OPEL corsa i left 1,5km away from beach.) Totally worth seeing, and view. Nice and cozy place with mineral springs. A place to visit during your holidays in Lesvos! I totally recommend it. You can visit it by from Vatera or Plomari! Feels like paradise!! Crystal clear water, opportunity for dives, nice views, especially if you go on foot but get prepared, photos following of the pathway, cute little church under/inside the rock (that's why it's called hidden church). You can either there or take the from Melinda or Plomari. In the past, I used to pay 10€ round trip per person, this year cost 20€ and we would have had to wait for other people as well so we preferred the hike. It's a 10' but if you do it in the summer, get some extra and sports shoes, it's steep to go down but once you are there, it feels like paradise 😍 (Check the pictures so you have an idea of the pathway) Amazing Church the cave where the Panagia hid from the non christens to save her life. This place is absolutely stunning! 🌊⛪ To reach it, you drive about 10 minutes on a dirt road, then park and another 10 minutes. The walk is totally worth it for the amazing views and peaceful atmosphere. Make sure to bring and sunscreen if you go on a sunny day. I absolutely recommend visiting! Tavsiye ederim Spacer 30 min drogą szutrową, a potem w dół przez gaj oliwny do kapliczki. Niesamowite widoki. Zejście do wody. Z drabinką, można popływać, więc warto wziąć kąpielówki. A place that needs to be earned. Would love to see less boats with crowds and music blasting in this place. Please preserve the relaxing silence of the site while enjoying a dip in the bay under the watchful eye of the small worship place up above. We arrived here by and it was absolutely stunning. The is crystal clear, and there’s a unique spot where hot springs flow directly into the sea – an incredible natural experience. One of the most places we visited in Lesvos, and truly unforgettable! Very isolated and peaceful if you go early in the morning. Natural hot spring coming out of the rock into the sea. Highly recommended, very special place. I walked down and it was just perfect! La primera vez yo la descubrí siguiendo el calor del agua. little private Cove an amazing little church on the top. Very challenging dirt and trek to get down to. Hidden gem.. we parked at the beginning of the dirt for about 2.8 km, each way, only the last couple hundred meters descent required extra attention, but overall not too difficult. You can drive all the way to beginning of the spot where the descent begins and just trek the last couple hundred meters. It’s a swimming spot. Hot springs but pool was small and full of dead leaves and branches and muddy. Overall an IG worthy spot and great place to chill. From PLOMARI, a short drive to Melinda and a chat to the owners of Maria's Taverna will enable you to hop on a for a short 10 min trip to this marvel. Another hidden gem on the island. Highly worth a dive in the pristine waters. Up against the rock face you can feel the warm waters rising and their soothing effect. Worth visiting. Crystal clear waters. Calm and isolated place. Breathtaking landscape. Best for the soul Unfortunately there are no more boats from Melinda (Maria’s tavern). The boats depart from Plomari now and not as convenient as it was in the past. However you can drive up to a certain point on a dirt road. There you can park and take a down to Krifti but the way up is really tiring (10 minutes to go down but 30 minutes to climb back up)… One of the most spectacular places I’ve been too on the island. However, be warned if you are planning on hiking and not taking the boat. The descent is decent - however steep and you need to be very careful. The back up is insane. Unfortunately we did it in 38 degree weather. It is incredibly steep. Take more than you think you need, wear enclosed shoes and very light clothing if you go in summer. The there is also extremely narrow with no rail. I recommend if you really want to see it to get the across because I thought I was healthy and fine until I did the back and vomited/almost fainted. However the view was worth it but be VERY PREPARED OR OVERLY PREPARED There is also an amazing hot spring but once again couldn’t really go in because the was scolding hot! There is a bucket to dump out and replace it with the from the sea Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
