The first part is a bit boring and also hot, because you walking in the dry river for about 45min. Then the path is going in the forest and its more beautiful and cooler. The itself is wonderful and you can lie down in the cold water. Hiked from valbona, I recommend getting a taxi from valbona to the trail head as it's 1 hour from valbona to the trail head in the sun on the side of the road.
