Strandhill, Ireland Hiking area

One of the Best Places To Visits in Knockaree ED Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Great wall, not too engaging and suitable for kids. Great view of strandhill from the top A lovely place to walk to on a nice day. The bus stops right at the bottom. The walk is roughly 40 minutes to get to the top. Extremely beautiful place, gorgeous view's from every angle. Easy enough climb even for someone who isn't fit. There are plenty of trails and walks all around the whole surrounding area. Beautiful all around the Knocknarea area and a busy little town in very near by Strandhill. An absolutely gorgeous place. I didn't plan on actually hiking up there that day but our daughter insisted. And it was so worth it. There are several trails available, some quite lengthy. We went straight up and back down the same way which takes around 1 hour. Whichever way you take you'll have a stunning view from the top. The walk is easy enough at the start but quite steep towards the end. Definitely would recommend proper shoes and enough to drink. Nice climb with wood stairs from beach strandhill side, and a path from the opposite side. Great landscape. Defintely worth visiting. Diamond hill. The trail head is at the Connemara national park carpark in Letterfrack. The 3 looped walks are all well marked....the red loop requires some fitness and care would be needed on a wet day. Had to come here in honor of our stillborn daughter Maeve. Very beautiful place with amazing views Nice bench with a great view. About 1/4 of the way up. No back rest and single slat that sits a bit high. 5 out of 10. Not a great bench but great view on the rest was appreciated. Good walk, fresh air and beautiful views. Nice place for hiking. The breathtaking views are guaranteed ) Not hard but I wouldn’t recommend do it in wet weather. My daughters climbed this mountain. They thoroughly enjoyed the experience, spectacular views of sligo, man made steps are a little steep .so be careful on your descent Almost got lost in the dark great hike Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
