Our first time visiting. Very busy restaurant. My creamy pasta was a bit thin and then the profiteroles were massacred! Profiteroles are supposed to be light and fluffy...these were hard and flat covering ice cream... very dissatisfied.Hubby said his chips were bland. Nice place, family-friendly. Prices weren't bad. Was placed well on our way from Parkes Castle to Donegal. Wasn't a huge fan of the Darkness Irish Stout but it wasn't bad. After our 2nd trip, Beamish is holding as my favorite! First time back in year's the cheesy garlic potatoes are still as as I remember. We were a party of 8 everyone enjoyed their meals. Service was good, atmosphere is dull not much background music no interaction with staff. We came with a group of friends, we booked beforehand, but seeing the amount of guests I the it wasn't necessary though. We didn't have to wait, and were seated straight away. The location is nice, easy along the road, and and enough parking facilities. The food was amazing, very quality and well seasoned. Now, personally I wouldn't have minded a slightly bigger portion size, but the flavour was absolutely satisfying. The recommendation on Google reviews were very good, as we chose rather the recommended dishes as well. 5 stars absolutely, would certainly recommend other people to come here and have their food as well. Service is good, people are friendly and very helpful. Since it wasn't very busy, the food was served quickly. The desserts were delicious too. The atmosphere is very nice, as we were sitting in an area with lots of natural lighting, but the in general was very nicely built up. I would certainly say, keep up the work! They have a variety of vegetarian dishes and the chicken is halal, so 5 stars from me. The food was tasteless.
