Also one of the most scenic stadium in the world, wee knocknarae one side and the glorious benbulbin the other and you can see the train chooo choooing going by... Could be a world class facility if the fai wasn't run by a crook for a century but hopefully a bit of investment from the government and it would shine and shine forever more. Really picturesque ground with the mountains as a backdrop to the match. If you are visiting Sligo, and whether you're a football fan or not, this is worth a visit if there is a game on. Great atmosphere with a amazing backdrop view. It's a 10min walk from the town centre. On the walk over, try the Railway Bar, O'Neil or Mooneys bars nearby for some pre and post match craic.
