There are a few benches for the parents. There is also picnic benches by the carpark and a big grass area infront of the playground. You will find gym equipment next to and on the walk from the upto the lake sure. For the parents I'd highly recommend popping across the road to Westeroast to grab a coffee to take to the playground 😀 The playground is amazing ,the children love it and the adults ,there's plenty to do for both. Nice playground with play equitment for children and fitness equitment for kids and adults as well. Highlights are the two cableways, playcourt for basketball and soccer, and the rocket slide. It is close to nature and you get to enjoy the lake the river and the small marshland around it. Plenty of car parking facility. This place is full of flowers in this season. Looks like a new park. Kids loved it. A nice well kept for children loads of seating areas and a good play area for children to play and a lovely well maintained walkway all along the Lock Gill into the town Adventurous for kids Nice and clean. I think could be better with some roofing over the machines. And an increment of bars and machines for medium advanced calisthenic users, its only my opinion.
