One of the Best Places To Visits in Sligo West ED Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Nice surprise that this theater actually was quite spacious. The acoustics were fine. We were here for the jazz fest 2018. The music was great. They have a nice full bar in the lobby. All in all a very nice experience. School Musical.... Legally Blond. buzz. value as show was over 3 hrs long. Hawkwell is a venue. Lola Montez & Lady Morran Nice show of the Bealtaine Festival A lovely theatre with shows however the seat rows are so close together your knees are literally touching the chair in front of you, which isn't ideal if you are sitting for two hours. Be sure to select an aisle seat so you can get up and stretch your legs. Amazing performance by the Encore players of the story of Mary Shelly and Frankenstein. The entire audience was captivated from start to finish. We all joined in singing Happy Birthday to Alex (61) after celebrating the fantastic cast and production team. One of the finest theatres in Ireland. It is absolutely jam packed with entertainment. They have a huge mix of music/theatre/comedy shows as well as loads of free daytime events, children's events and workshops. Everyone in the community is catered for in one way or another. Located very centrally to all Sligo's wonderful cafes/restaurants and bars. Definitely worth a visit during your stay. A venue, lovely helpful staff and a atmosphere. Saw Rock Rising and it was an excellent gig, comfortable seating, view of the stage from any position and a terrific atmosphere. Really enjoyable night out and I'd definitely be back here again sooner rather than later. Keep up the good work guys 😎👍 Excellent venue. Watched a country western tribute act. Seats are good. Nice little bar. Staff are excellent in controlling the crowds. The Hawk’s Well Theatre has surprisingly acoustics. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is an excellent variety in programming which seeks to have something for everyone. It is a superb local theatre & performance space venue. Lovely event space and CLADA was incredible! Unfortunately one of the ushers at the back was quite rude when I was filled with so much joy to dance at my seat in the very back row. She said that I cannot stand, even though I am in the back and not obstructing anyone. Apparently it’s too distracting for others and it is for “health and safety reasons”. A shame when this music is so full of life and joy that just makes you want to move. If they enforce sitting then she should also be required to sit behind us in her seat rather than standing in the aisle clapping beside me. Would be to express this in the theatre rule’s beforehand, so people can decide if it is right for them to attend in that case. It’s so hard to not dance and move to this incredible music! At the end the artists asked everyone to stand and jump and dance. Just wanted to leave this note here as it really affected my experience. Thank you. Attended in the last 2 weeks Oasis and Fleetwood Mac tribute bands. Two fantastic evenings, staff so friendly and easy to park in cathedral car park at €3 Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
