Had a beautiful mother's day afternoon tea here with my mum n sister. From the minute we walked in the front door we were made feel welcome by the friendly staff. Presentation at the table was lovely, the cute napkins and china teasets, very nice. Then the food! Excellent coffee n all the foodie treats were delicious. Not to mention the cocktails! From start to finish, we had a very enjoyable experience, and we will certainly be back another time. Well done to all the fantastic staff! I have visited the Old Courthouse a few times over the years. I would highly the guided jail tour. They also host a lot of other events, which are advertised on their site. Recently I was there for a murder mystery event, which included a complimentary drink, a three course meal and an interactive (optional) murder mystery while you dined. It was fun. While the are always amazing, my only small gripe is that the food/drink service can be slow when the venue is at capacity, so sometimes you may need to be patient. I would highly a visit here . Nice place Was here for a few intimate sit down concerts recently, the intimate closeness you are to the artist, and the acoustics in wonderful venue are second to none. Their food during the day is amazing delivered with a smile by the hard working staff. Recommended. Was OK, seems a real waste not very well managed, wanted to do the tour but was just shown the very small museum. Could be made so much better experience altogether! We did the (Halloween) jail break solving puzzles and opening many locks. Our jailer did a fantastic job keeping an eye on us, leading us along without giving too much away and adding a bit of history at the end. And although the kitchen was about to close, we were able to sit down with a quick snack and lovely cappuccinos and hot chocolate (trying to escape from a jail cell makes you very hungry). We say thank you to all the to give us this fantastic experience! We had a time at the Halloween jailbreak (we were pretty useless but we had a guard!) fascinating authentic and fun! food with a licensed bar too - all very reasonably priced. Free parking. The prison break was very good. Highly Had fun with the escape room and then ate lunch in the Courthouse. We were served quickly and the food was delicious. Highly this as an activity for a hen party I recently filmed a video within the courthouse as part of a univeristy assignment. It went smoothly thanks to the incredible friendlyness of the staff. In particular I have to thank Darren and Gillian who were both so approachable and accomodating. They have my utmost gratitude for allowing me to create a short documentary on this incredible building. We had the guided tour with Luke. Really good. Very informative & interesting. We also went on to the escape rooms. Brilliant. We definitely recommend. Beautiful place to eat too. An amazing building & fascinating tour. The cells are recreated incredibly vividly and detailed, I would highly recommend. The cafe offers lovely food priced very reasonably, special mention for the absolutely delicious cappuccino I happily consumed! The were local and could not have been friendlier. A very enjoyable afternoon! Took my two boys here this afternoon and we had a ball. The tour guide, Oisin, was so knowledgeable and fun. Would highly a trip here, we will definitely be back to do the escape room. So fun and the are so friendly!!!! Can’t this highly enough as a way to entertain teenagers at a birthday party. They had two teams competing to see which could escape first. Their jailer was so informative and helpful. They all loved it.
