The cafe has a selection of choice on their menu and all the facilities are spotlessly clean. Very well done to all the staff, we had a visit. Attended Oakfest ,Park and facilities excellent. family day out Best family and worth for a full day family trip. There will be queues for after that you can walk throughout the park. Coffee shop and toilets available.. Where is the option for 6 stars. From the moment we arrived everything was perfect. The weather was fantastic for a start, always ahead at that point The kiosk operator couldn't be more helpful and polite. There is so much to see you need at least 4 hours to properly appreciate it. Plenty for the to get excited about and very well laid out so you can follow the walking trail and not feel like you are missing anything. We got the and the were about to explode with excitement. We stopped for a while at the restaurant and the food was fantastic and we are hard to please and my wife has quite a few dietary demands. There is a full extra menu for gluten and dairy allergies... Perfect. The again were so helpful and friendly. Unfortunately we ran out off time and had to leave but we have our Christmas Santa Express booked so December can't come fast enough for the kids. I think we will be back before then... day out. The gardens are and meticulously maintained. Really enjoyed the ride, where you get a tour around the estate. The restaurant, "Buffers" has an extensive menu to suit all tastes and the service was excellent from the staff. Ample parking. There is a that goes around the park. I went for the music festival. Very well organised and ,from the security to the bar and catering. We were all greeted with a smile and a chat. Music was brilliant. We had the best afternoon here with our 2 small dogs. Miles of gorgeous walks around the estate, with lots of interesting things to see. We had a lunch at the restaurant, where the service was great. And we went on the wee and the dogs were allowed on too! Oakfield is a fabulous spot. Highly recommended. Oakfield Park…what an amazing place, and a hidden gem in Ireland. I have been here 5 times now over the last few years with my now 4 year old and wife, mostly to events like Christmas, Teddy Bear Picnic etc. The entire setup is creative and fun, the grounds/facilities are immaculate, theres no other word to describe it. The are amazing, who clearly love what they do. The Food/Restaurant is fabulous, the walks are delightful with so much to see, and then the 2.5 mile miniature which operates on occasions is just so so good … especially Christmas at night, which is in one word… Magical! This is no ordinary place… definitely not, its got so much heart to it and creates so many lasting memories. Every Adult and child deserves this experience. Long may it last! The is so sweet, a walk around the is just beautiful.. the cafe was * we just had tea & cakes.. were super nice & friendly. Bathroom facilities were very clean & well maintained. We also visited the walled garden which is really & well worth a visit.. there's a playground.. I would absolutely recommend visiting here, overall its just beautifully presented.
