The service was really good and we sat outside. The food is cheap and basic but you get what you pay for. Only downside was my bread was a bit hard which was disappointing. Disgusting food. Ordered a breakfast which cost €7.95. it consisted of 3 sausages, black bacon and greasy egg, total waste of money!!The bacon was like leather, hard and inedible. Surprised it hasn't been closed down. 1 star is too much! Found disgusting hair in my chips and when confronted the staff only got a dirty look with no apology! The fry is a joke with 2 pieces of leathery bacon 🥓 and dry shrivelled sausages👎Dirty sticky cutlery, tea pots never been washed and the whole place is in shambles👎 Spent 33 euros on the worst meal ever, sausage were disgusting out of a packet from a shop! Bacon was that black from the dirty hotplate, egg was the only edible thing. Staff are uninterested In service no communication when they approach your table just drop everything at the table and leave. Will never be back and will make sure everyone I know avoids at all costs. Chips were bad. Food in general was mediocre. Toilet seat was loose and I regretted looking up cause the skylight was covered in grime. Ordered two teas and only got one. When we asked about the other one they said only one was ordered. The person who took the order might have misheard which would've been fine but the way they carried on it was like they thought I was trying to scam them! Left me feeling very annoyed. I didn't care about paying for the tea if it was a mistake but don't make out that the customer is lying just apologize for the mistake, it was busy, it happens. But the way they went about discouraged me from coming back, though nothing else would have anyway Most delicious chicken and chips ever had I will come back 😀 Regular customer over the years. I wont' be back. Waitress I've encountered at the cash register on my past two visits is arrogant, rude and snaps at customers. She doesn't listen to a very simple order and asks you to repeat it multiple times but it's the tone and body language that does it. She doesn't say please or thank you, which I can get past but her demeanour and attitude is the worst I've encountered in years. Young, blonde with hair tied back and wears glasses. Either train your staff or monitor their behaviour. Nasty piece of work. There's nothing I enjoy more than going in somewhere and being able to have a delightful engaging rapport with staff which I do everywhere I go. Thankfully, the staff across Donegal and Derry in most places are ranging from pleasant to extremely nice human beings. This girl has serious issues. I NEVER write reviews unless I'm pissed off. Used to love coming here .. Can't believe how down hill it had gone. Tea and bread £6.40 for tea and bread. Very poor service and staff that are mostly new . Changed times in here .
