The grounds around this place are stunning. The holiday homes were much nicer than I had expected and the bath tub is fantastic. Only issue I had with the home itself is that there were a lot of spiders in the shower. Dinner stops at 7 which seems a bit early but the food was lovely. Not many options at the bar, I would have loved a cocktail menu, also last orders were at 9:40 which was a bit disappointing. Staff are lovely and chatty and always willing to help with any issues. Played today Decies golf society , course was fantastic for time of year greens lightening fast, breakfast was best ever and dinner was fantastic day all around Played golf course in brilliant condition hats off to the green keeper Played the course a couple of weeks back was in condition with super fast greens , track and had a lovely bit of food afterwards,staff are very welcoming and friendly, will be back and hopefully stay over ☺️☺️ We had a 1 night stay here and 2 rounds off golf and it was a pleasure all round, course - food - accommodation and the staff couldn’t do enough for us and we even got complimentary tickets for the Kilbeggan horse racing!!!!!! Highly recommend we will definitely be back Thanks Whilst travelling up the country this week we were scouting local golf courses and were lucky to visit this one. We went in and had a look around and asked about a game the next day, me playing and my wife to walk with me.. Absolutely no problem we were told and at a very reasonable price of 35 euros. We went up to the bar/restaurant for a coffee and a scone of which were excellent and again reasonably priced. The staff both in the golf shop and restaurant were very friendly and helpful. Next day we played the course and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, met local members before we went out and were given the go ahead to start ahead of them of which we appreciated. What a beautiful course, tough but fair meandering around the grounds of the old estate house. Afterwards we had a beautiful dinner in the restaurant at a very reasonable price and the staff couldn't have done more for us. I would totally recommend this course both for a game and to eat afterwards.. I really hope to be back this way again.. credit to the staff both inside and out on the course, you do the place proud.
