The Surounding Forest is beautiful with plenty of amazing views and places of interest. There are a couple of Wind Shelters in the Area where you can make a fire and have a Barbecue, or just shelter from the Elements. The Cafe/Restaurant had a buffet upon our visit and the food was very nice, the staff really friendly. Beautiful area. Trails are well maintained. We walked to the waterfall on the west side of the park. It was a nice easy hike, but the foliage has the waterfall hidden at this time of year. If you're able to climb a little, you can get closer and see the waterfall better. Otherwise I would suggest visiting in early Spring or Fall to get a clearer view. Gik selv en 26km tur rundt om hele området, men en afstikker ind omkring Hallsjon. Jeg kommer helt sikket tilbage, der er så meget at udforske Very nice nature reserve! We passed by with your bicycles and stayed the night in one of the shelters which was in excellent condition. We will definitely come back to properly hike in this reserve in the future.
