There is also a playground for the young ones and a restaurant. One could easily spend a whole day here! Public restrooms are available. A really nice place for recreation and contemplation. Swedens biggest and you can plan lot of water sports activity. Just sitting in the bed is also awesome... Really nice and well-kept near city center of Vänersborg. When nice weather is crowded but don’t be afraid, you get space. Only thing you might have a problem with is parking space close to (only when it’s summer, warm and sunny) but you can anywhere in the center and you’re still walking distance from the park. There are walking paths, kid’s playground, frisbee golf, café (not open every day nor year around), small outdoor gym and pier/small harbor. Beautiful views overlooking Vänern, really big and fun playground, beautiful grounds filled with trees, lovely little café/restaurant in the summer months and even a little "bird house" filled with books to take home and replace with one of your own.
