The even includes a few stops to enter some places, creating an immersive experience. We joined the Free Walking Maastricht with Chris and it was a fantastic experience. She has a knowledge of the city and its history, but what really stood out was her enthusiasm and the personal connection she clearly has with Maastricht. It makes such a difference when a can share not only the facts but also their own insights and stories. The was both informative and engaging, and we walked away feeling like we truly got to know the city better. Highly recommended! Gilbert is an amazing guide. He showed us all the places around Maastricht Juliette was a lovely - quirky, charming and friendly. Although she was funny at times, she may want to tone down the anti-French commentary - you never know how sensitive people are. Better to be neutral and be more informative. With more practice she will develop into a more intuitive and informational guide. Thank you for your time today, I enjoyed it! Just finished our 2 hour of Maastricht with our guide. He was excellent knowledge plus really friendly especially as my son and girlfriend are blind. He really had knowledge and a passion for a town he clearly loves. She gave us a lot of information on different historical buildings and locations in Maastricht. As well as some current hotspots and bars and restaurants. The overall vibe was very nice and we could always ask question. If you want to get an overview of the city, I would recommend participating in the (especially in the morning) so you can check out all the places throughout the day. :) Really really tour!
