In Maastricht there are not many options when it comes to swimming. This one is the newest and largest (and one of the very few) public pools in the city. There are different indoor pools for recreational and warm water swimming, but the long-lane for the public is limited to certain time-slots. When the temperature gets warm enough the outdoor also gets open. There is a small barista-type place attached to the pool, with a small playground for children. Good time eith family Very nice, small, clean with lot of people keeping area calm. Free umbrellas, cheap prices at bar. No alcohol inside. Clean facilities, often crowded but that is okay. Good amount of free parking. We came for regional championships in Synchronised Swimming: as a competition it’s pretty decent although I knocked off some stars in the rating because it’s quite small for such a large number of people, especially the tribune. Cannot handle a massive amount of spectators. And also the regular lessons went over and delayed the competition. We were there for a meeting and my daughter won a medal there . Awesome sports park beside the pool. In this extreme heat the only in Maastricht closes at 1:30 pm. It is unreasonable. Where do we go in this heat if we do not go to the pool? This place is a joke, they sell tickets for activities, cancell them, but do not inform buyers about it. You learn it only when you arrive there. And not at a reception, but after you change, at the pool. You cannot swim, and they try to pretend that everything is fine, instead of in lane you can go to for elderly people or outdoor full of people, including children. In both cases, absolutely no way you can swim. Only when you go back they give you "free ticket" instead of returning your money, but the lane is only at 7am, few days a week. Also, it is usually full, so you even dont see which days and times you can use this "ticket". where you cannot swim, but you can waste time coming there,.changing and back. I was at a tremendous low point in my life and I went here to relax my mind - and I must say, it really changed everything. Such a beautiful place with beautiful workers. Huge shout out to the cleaners - especially Samuel, he is the best worker I’ve ever seen. Keep going son! Very very bad situation! I bought the ticket for Ouder-kind: Dreumeszwemmen. Came with my kid 1.3 years old. Nobody at reception, absolutely no one. Doors were opened, means tickets activated. We dressed up ready for and found that all closed inside! No notifications about cancelled lesson, nobody to ask, absolute disappointment. Why Geusseltbad selling tickets if is closed??? Very strange. Time and money lost No English in this place at all. If you are a foreigner and didn’t know Dutch. It’s very difficult to buy a ticket or find the right way inside Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
