If there was a -10000 stars, it wouldn’t be low enough!! One of the worst places I have ever been to! When we arrived, we had to go through a woods. No joke, it looked terrifying! The trees were bare and it was really dark even though it wasn’t that late. Then, as we walk in, we collect our bed sheets. Oh my gosh. My sheets had blood stains and yellow stains on it, pillow and duvet! Disgusting and disgraceful!! The walk to the room was awful! The walls were covered in graffiti of people with duck tape over their mouths! It looked like a mental asylum! I’ve never been so scared to walk down a hallway! Moreover, the rooms were stuffy and there was mould growing everywhere!!!! There was a rotten gummy bear in my bed so clearly the cleaners don’t do much! DO NOT COME HERE!!! The toilet was dirty and revolting! It stunk and was brown all over! I wanted to puke! Some of my friends started crying because of the state the room was in. We were too scared to sleep! Then for breakfast, the food was hard or stodgy! It was better to eat nothing at this point! There was no drinking water in the hostel at all. How can the owner not feel guilty giving the keys? On that note, the key didn’t work! Our door was unlocked for a long time before a teacher moved us. We had to tie the door to the wall with first aid tape, not provided, we had to use our own tape!! WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE EMOTIONALLY SCARRED!!!!! The food was scrum-diddily-dumcious although it reminded me of human toes, I was greeted by a man the staff said "dangerous" but I think it was a funny joke. The beds were like clouds The BEST experience of my life Absolutely fantastic i loved the experience so much im coming again soon, my favourite part was the friendly bangs on the walls Woods nice and the town nearby was pretty but the people working there weren’t the friendliest and didnt welcome us or help too much. Also, in the night (our last night there) we heard a strange series of knocking on the wall. We don’t know why it happened but it wasn’t the next door room and maybe was outside although sounded indoors. It’s on a former WW1 battlefield and could be haunted, go at you own risk.
