Loved this theam park. Suitable for all ages. Only thing i could be negative about, is the pricing of food for bigger family's. Super 👍 Went there at the end of July ’25 with a group of 5 (2 adults and 3 children). Tickets had to be purchased online in advance with slots. We arrived 15 minutes before our entry time, but there was already a long queue at the outside. In the end, we had to wait more than 45 minutes past our scheduled entry before we could get into the swimming pool. During the wait, a member informed us that one of the two slides in the ‘slide tower’ was broken. They offered us the choice to either enter (still at full price) or change our ticket for another date free of charge. We decided to keep our ticket. Once inside, the dirt in the cloakrooms was immediately noticeable, and overall the place didn’t feel very clean. It wasn’t overcrowded, but the venue itself is quite small. Even though the decoration is nicely done, within a small hour you’ve basically seen everything (same for the children). After a while, an announcement was made over the loudspeakers to say that the other in the ‘slide tower’ would now be shut down so that the previously broken one could be used instead, which was at least a solution. To be honest, both adults and had more fun at Plopsaqua than here. We probably won’t return, even though this location is closer for us. Would absolutely not recommend! We are from the Netherlands northern part and figured visiting a new swimming on holiday would be great.... I bought cheaper tickets through Tripper. This is the only reason I gave this place 2 stars. Full price would have been a total let down. So overpriced; the is smaller than what they let you think from the 'pictures'. 3 big slides and that is it. Of which 2 were part if a combi racing with duo tube. The other a 4 person tube slide. So effectively just 2. 1 employee who sits on a stool and regulates the people in the rows at the entrances. Does not help with lifting eventhough the 4 person tube is heavy. There is also zero help lifting it on the escalator at the end. You have to lift it out of the rapid, over dry and then a meter from the ground into the mechanism. Other pools have an automatic grab mechanism or at least someone who helps. As stated by a few other people...there are many Rules. I actually read them online and figured that our clothing would be fine. But no, you are not allowed SWIMMING trunks with pockets. So my son and husband had to wear rentals. Tight stretch material, one layered and very short rentals. So be aware my dudes...having a hard on is a no go...or having a natural big physique down under. You will be flashing your wares. Hygiene argument is absolute nonsense. Guys wearing boxershorts...actual underwear were swimming there. I am thinking its more of a 'You will be scratching and damaging our slides' excuse. The pocket rule so you can not have anything sharp... There is no normal to do laps. All cramped in a very small indoor area. The 'wellness' was one sauna, one cold shower tucked away and I guess they figured having some bubbles in a badly lit sitting is the same as a relaxing jacuzzi or whirlpool? A joke. There is a lazy river with maybe 10 tubes max of which some were badly needing air. Lots of lockers were broken. Personnel abound. Either just strolling or reprimanding people on their clothing. TLDR: Small kids truly will have their short fun after visiting the amusement park, but do not go for just the aquapark. We had a great here, with our three pre-teen kids. Everything is and well presented, and there's plenty to keep the kids busy and entertained, from the slides to the lazy river. We were surprised at the rules around swimwear types that are allowed, but it's really not a big deal. Would definitely return if we don't ourselves nearby on a future holiday. The is clean, and looks with lots of decorations. The was very friendly, and helped us on various occasions. However, the total is somewhat smaller then expected, and after an hour or two, you’ve seen it all. My and I like the style here very much. Compared with logo, I prefer to bring my here. In the children's area, I just need to soak in the hot spring and watch him play. But the food is expensive and not delicious. There are only two periods to enter, which I think is very inconvenient. But my like it very much, so I'll come back. I did not like the way they spoke to us. We had kids, came all the way from the states to visit. The associate in the reception was so rude and when I asked to speak to a Manager, his answer was No!. I will not return over there- nor will my family members. Great waterpark for thrills and spills. However, you enjoy at your own risk. There are major safety failings, largely due to negligent staff. Poor communication between at the top and bottom of the slides resulted in a collision that narrow avoided serious injury. The member said it was the child’s fault for not getting out of the way! Here’s an idea, use the radio around your neck to tell the guy at the top when to send the next rider down… Later I saw her wandering around, leaving the exit completely unattended. Bafflingly poor (and illegal) safety standards. Parents you have been warned. Nice place, and the allocated slot is just perfect for a day out fun. Though they could expand for more adventure water ride, maybe😉 Lovely and not that busy aqua park. Although it did cost us 102 euros to enter for a family of four. We didn’t have the right shorts required to enter the but they have some that they can lend you. Thankfully! Friendly and clean! Great for 12 and under but wouldn’t bring a teenager here as limited rides but still fun. Food is pre-made - burgers, salad and chilli con carne. It’s also expensive to buy food. All in all we had fun but with older you wouldn’t spend hours here. Bellewaerde Aquapark Review The itself is beautiful and well-designed, but unfortunately, some of the rules are simply absurd. From the entrance, you’re not allowed to bring any spare flip-flops, and even in the bathroom you have to be barefoot 🤢. You can’t even take a very small bag for your phone and wallet… The acts like prison guards, managing to kill your mood right at the door. In the food area, everyone walks around barefoot, wet, and in swimsuits 🤢 — not exactly the most hygienic environment. On top of that, the queues are so long that you lose your appetite before you even get your food! A big plus for the digital systems though — that part is modern and well-implemented Special rules for swimwear. You cannot use normal swimwear but have to rent or buy their swimwear. All information is in Flemish or French, so luck if you don’t speak those two languages. At least 10-15 min waiting at the only two waterslides. My advice would be to go to a lovely beach instead of this horrible place. A great waterpark with a lazy river leading you around the range of different areas, including slides, jacuzzis and a climbing wall. The whole place is well designed, feels tropical and hygienic. Parking is easy and is paid for at the desk when showing tickets, then scanned to exit the car gates. Wrist bands are acquired at the ticket desk and are used as keys to the lockers inside the changing rooms. We arrived at 10am and spent 3 hours enjoying the and flumes, we could've stayed longer if we wanted! There is also a cafe on site which can be entered from the side, as well as plenty of seating and deckchairs around the pool. were friendly and spoke English to help explain how everything worked. You do need the correct swimwear! A great day out for all ages! Overall nice and fun day. Friendly staff, and hygienic. And for the amount of people that were there at the time, it actually didn't feel too overcrowded. I personally think they do a job 💪.
